Im not being funny matey but I can't quite understand why not. IF we're promoted and decide to sell him, why wouldn't another team pay what he's worth just because we've been promoted?

Im not sure what the record fee is for a player from a championship club to a premiership club is, but in this case it wouldn't matter because he's clearly a premiership quality player.

My guess is the only way we got remy being relegation certainties, was that if we went down we would HAVE to sell him for the same as we paid, putting him in a better position to get major money for himself. If hes worth twenty million, and we can only sell him for eight, cos he stipulated that in his contract, then he trousers the other twelve million, not us. It really is like that in a lot of cases, and i bet this is one of them.

Nah, Peterborough bought him and he looks a beast. Top scorer in league 1. Watford have a buy back clause so depends wether they decide to or not. Ravel is obvsiously unlikely but we will try and you never know he might want to sign for us.
