  • 10 Games Left for Most Teams - Possible Banana Skins

Burnley - Leicester who don't look like letting up, Wigan who are on a roll and Reading last game of the season who may need a win to make the playoffs
Derby - Forest this weekend they look like they have a lovely set of fixtures
Wigan - Have 12 games still. Us, Leicester, Burnley, Reading and an FA Cup Semi Final and a number of derby games. Motoring at current time but fixtures look tough to me
Forest - Seem to have got themselves in a worse slide then we have. Got Derby this Weekend, Us and Brighton last day who will want a win for Play Offs
Reading - have decent run of fixtures until the last three weeks then they play Leicester, Wigan and Burnley last day
Brighton - have great fixtures only facing Leicester and Forest on the last day

What jumps out is that so many of the play off/auto promotion teams play each other on the last day so whose in and out could change on a minute to minute basis just like it does in the relegation zone on last day of the season.

We have Wigan, Forest and Leicester of which two are at home. Burnley have three tough games when you look above; my head says the game is up its about positioning for the play offs now but my heart has that little glimmer of when you look at our last three fixtures of the season if we can just be within striking distance with Barnsley last day, who could well already be down (and 6000 fans packing away end at Oakwell) and Reading who are decent at home needing a win possibly to get in the play offs and Ings potentially out rest of the season........ Could it happen well you never know

To coin the song of Birmingham lets 'keep right on to the end of the road' and see what presents itself stranger things have happened COYRs

Derbys wheels have well and truly come off, the only way is down for them now. Worse at scoring than us mate.
Forest have totally gone, the manager cant even manage them at the toughest part of the season.
We are sitting pretty imho, and would bet every single thing i own in this world that we are in those play offs.
Shame burnley are so good this year, cos i reckon we will have a points total that would usually mean second place.

Agree Kev I think we will make the play offs comfortably. Theres been a lot of hype this season about Derby but I personally do not see it

Burnley if were being sensible should be home and dry and if I had to bet that's what I would put my money on but you never know one loss sometimes turns into two and were the perfect example of that. Think the above shows that that there is still plenty that could go wrong for all the teams involved and that includes us

Whether anyone likes them or not, the play offs are exciting and gives lots of teams plenty to play for at the business end of the season. We're right in the mix and anything could happen.

Six teams vying for four places. I think we'll be one of them, along with Wigan Derby and Brighton. Tough call though and winning the play offs will be a difficult journey for whoever comes out on top.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

There is that little chance for us to finish 2nd, but we need to have a winning streak of like 7-8 games in row and Burnley lose at least two games. Possible but difficult. Can't see it happen.

I'm confident of making the play-offs and getting to the final. It's the prospect of meeting Wigan where my confidence begins to wane, hey-ho, lets enjoy the ride
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Only slight plus side of that (clutching at straws i know) would be if they beat the gooners and have a massive wembley final the week before to muller them. Everyone knows about that hangover feeling after a big game.

Derby had an unbelievable run, but that's over. Pair that with the fact Mclaren left to go there, I think people just over hyped it. Fact is they're nothing special. I don't see anything in a lot of the teams other than Leicester, Burnley & Wigan.

I think it's between us & Wigan in the play offs personally

For me Lymes I would prefer Wigan in a one off game as Wembley as think the way they are going they would put us to bed over two legs

That's a very good post mate. Doubt if the top two will slip up enough for us, the managers wouldn't let it happen. Whilst we are nailed on for a play off spot, the possibility of automatic is actually still there but won't happen because we won't do what we need to do. Same as we haven't all season long. So hopefully, we will at least go into the play offs with everybody fit, which has got to give us a 50/50 chance along with Wigan, as we should be much better than the others we might. Have to face.
