Didn't think the atmosphere was that bad, been difficult these last couple of seasons for the fanbase as we've expected a lot but received very little on the pitch, those expectations being driven by the club. We've had marked phases.
This season, first part, fans were getting over the shock of our nightmare in the prem, then we went top 2 and slightly calmed the nerves but on feeling so badly let down we still didn't have great confidence that we deserved/would sustain such a position. Then the mini collapse out of automatic promotion and doom mongerers gathered, the fan base went flat.
Then a transitional phase set in when we knew we weren't automatic but not happy/concerned that playoffs would be a viable option for us.
Now I think the fans see a slight green shoots of the playoffs, kinda of accepted it. Think from now on the fanbase will on the whole be getting behind the club, and we will certainly bring out the numbers for the playoffs. I reckon if we get to Wembley ...it will be massive, it will be Rangers everywhere, just got a feeling this will also be bigger than Cardiff...especially with TF orchestrating proceedings.
Yesterday was a good day especially with our greatest ever manager being recognised with the minutes clapping that the opposition joined in due to the connection plus the half time speeches.
I reckon getting tickets for the playoffs for those that aren't ST holders may result in the club telling fans to attend certain games at the end of the season so that they are entitled to a ticket for the play off game. This may be a likely ticketing ploy as we are dead cert play offs, so the club come April can have time to plan in advance. One of these games will defo be the last game of the season against Millwall ....just the picture of fans who haven't seen us since Leeds in the promotion campaign turning up to the Millwall game to get their playoff ticket.

Yep agree was woeful. It's come to something when we have farking Yeovil taking the pi$$ out of our total lack of atmosphere.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I would think the club would make it ST holders and members get a chance to buy tickets for the play offs then people with a buying history , cant imagine they could tell people to attend certain games , not when there will be so many tickets available for Wembley , anyway weve got to get to the final first ,and our record against the top clubs in this division is poor to say the least

Sommany more tickets available than people that actually go, so they have got to give people some chance of being able to go that dont usually go, and also increases the clubs coffers and gets a better atmosphere for the last few games.

Agree ST holders will be treated like cup games, up to a date they will reserve but members I think will be dealt differently, club in huge deficit will see it as an opportunity to sell out a few games running up to the playoffs IMHO. I kind if remember with the playoff against Cardiff, fans had to have stubbs for old previous game or something to get tickets.

Didn't think it was half as bad as some are making out on here.

Agree, I don't know what posters are measuring the atmosphere against. We've never been the hotbed of passion and noise save for some unforgettable moments.
