A claim has been made that every QPR fan and his dog wanted Harry as manager when we were negotiating with him. I can genuinely say I did NOT want Harry as the manager, but ignoring me, I want to hear the genuine opinion of whether or not there were others out there who also didn't want him.

I have to be honest and say that I was really excited when he became our boss -,I have a lot of spurs mates who loved him. Also the fact that he was replacing Hughes who had zero personality I seriously thought Harry could save us
Unfortunately as time has gone on it looks like I was wrong
He has stabilized things though and the big mistake was not getting striker number 2 to support Charlie and his signings in the last transfer window were desperate to say the least

You are not the only one to have done this, despite protestations to the contrary. You should be very grateful that until now, none of the team have been as heavy handed and strict as we are often made out to be.
Having said that, you are rapidly approaching the point where instead of stimulating debate, your constant ranting about one subject alone, would appear to be getting on most people's nerves.
You are not happy with HR, we know that. Nor am I, far from it. But starting thread after thread isn't going to convince others that you don't want him here. We all know that. Repeating it is not necessary.
I would suggest a starting point is to NOT start any more threads and NOT start any more polls. When somebody said "everybody was happy to have him", it was clear to the vast majority of us that it was a figure of speech as opposed to a statistical fact. But the rest of us didn't feel duty bound to pull him up over it.

Changing the subject a tiny bit but still re Harry - can anyone recall the last time you saw him smile - I know we've been losing but even when we were winning he looks so miserable
I just don't see how he inspires our players - I reckon he leaves it to the likes of joey or Clint and just sits in the background twitching away!!

"Every QPR fan and his dog" doesn't suggest it was a figure of speech, it suggests that apart from a very tiny minority, every QPR fan wanted Harry. So I wanted to create this poll to find out whether this is true.
I am sorry you don't find this a useful poll, but I do, and I wish people would respect that. Imagine if people complained and tried to stop others from doing something just because they didn't like it.
It is also unfair to say I am ranting about one subject (Harry) alone. I have discussed TF and whether he has the right vision to lead us forward. I have discussed Adel Taarabt and whether it was a wise decision to let him go for a set fee. I have discussed Park many times, and whether he was a good player when he joined us or past it. I have discussed Hoilett, and why he became so rubbish. Amongst other things.
As a moderator I think your job should be (and I am sure you will agree) to be fair and allow honest debate. If a vocal minority start complaining, instead of saying I am getting on people's nerves, maybe you should tell this vocal minority to put me on their Ignore List? I mean, let's be honest, it is hardly as if I am going around polluting every thread with my opinions. Most of what I write is confined to my own threads, and even then, it is a few posts per day.
Thanks.Last edited by Marshy; 14-03-2014, 06:12 PM.
