I really would like to see him given a chance with us, he's young and it's a gamble but with our lack of quality on the wings atm I am surprised Harry hasn't brought him back and at least had him as an option off the bench! Maybe it's better for the 18 year old's development to be getting regular minutes in League One, Harry knows best!

Must be on what a tenth of General Toilett's wages but I guarantee he'd deliver 20 times as much

How did my club end up like this............
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Faurlin said on Open All Rs that Petrasso and Sutherland are the ones to look out for, from what he's seen of them.

Petrasso's a left mid but is occasionally being played as a striker at coventry, and he is doing well there.

Is it better for Hitchcock to be getting splinters in his arris in Rotherham or W12?
Argument could be, at least he is learning more watching strikers who can score up there. What could he learn in training or on match days with us? Nothing.

The fact is (fact based on my opinion not actual facts!) HR aint got a clue and is f...ing up my club. Young players like Petrasso, Hitchcock, Mo etc. are wasting away. I would not come to QPR if I was a young player and if I was already here? I would leave if I ever wanted to have a future in the game!

I'd like to see Petrasso given a chance, looks great for the EDS/reserves/U21's (or whatever they call it these days) and has impressed everywhere he has gone on loan. Also as LBlock pointed out, he cannot be any worse than Junior Toilet or Yossi Benayoun............not that it's likely to happen under Harry though!

But as Kev says above, there was a massive sway for Hitchcock be be our solution earlier this season (and all based on one goal tapped in from a yard) and now he's "only good enough" for a place on the bench at Rotherham. So perhaps development at a lower level is a better option and perhaps the staff at the Club who see them train, play EDS games and the like have slightly more about them than they are given credit for?
Having said that, I've seen Petrasso play a few times and he does look like he has something about him.
I would however be happier for him to learn his trade as he is than be pushed into the first team too earlier, purely on the premise that he is better than Toilett. I do expect him to feature next season mind, no matter who the manager is.
One final word of caution though - a couple of years back the same things were said of Andrade and he did flirt with the first team. The potential was clear, just like his subsequent demise

I hope we can tie him up for years to come, 18 years old looking promising.

Maybe, just maybe, there's some kind of financial incentive for Harry in all of this? Would that explain the otherwise absurd situation where our talented youngsters can't get a game, but we have loans from all over the place, half of whom are past their sell-by date?
