indeed he isn't Johnny, but wishing injury on another player so that one's own team may benefit is on par with giving an honest, if unfavourable opinion, on someone who has passed imo. But no one gets pulled up on it until now. Would the same opinion on Mr Crow have been deemed acceptable if, say, it was expressed a few weeks later. Maybe it's a timing thing, anyway, sorry - I digress from this thread.

I would imagine that as usual, what you said at the time wasn't read properly and has been mistaken for the fact that you really wish injury on Danny Ings.

It would appear that even the express explanation that it was only because it would be a huge blow for Burnley, seems to have been ignored by some.

Sitting down in the pub with some of you lot really should be one of the things to do before I die, as it must be one hell of a surreal experience.

Not at all mate. It's only natural to be a bit re leaved if one of our opponents top scorers goes down. To much has been read into what you said.. I think it's best to leave it there.

I don't want Ings to be out. Burnley have a really small squad. They lost their best striker. Do you hear their manager moaning each week? No. He gets on with it.

Burnley deserve to go up ahead of us, if they go up and we don't I'll be really angry at Harry but I'll wish Burnley all the best.

Are people actually saying Burnley and Leicester weren't happy to see us lose Austin and Phillips for the rest of the season, of course they were as they knew it would hamper our chances !

If its not a career threatening injury and only keeps him out the remainder of the season I could not give a tos s. Just shame there so far ahead of us that we cannot capitalise

I doubt it would make much difference now but u gotta hope

I've played most of my life as a centre half and picked up some bad injuries. was always told to take out their best player though.makes the remaining 85 minutes easier. No respect for the opposition once that whistle blows,it's all about winning.

Back to the thread - ings could well be fit enough to play tomorrow

Why is it when we have an injury that we are sweating on - it's always the worst possible news

                                Oh well - that's life I spose!
