Yeah I bet Leicester fans are kicking themselves they are going to get promoted as Champions and are not in the play offs for "the best way to get promoted"

Anyone who would rather go up via the play offs than automatic or as Champions is a bit odd frankly.

The play-offs are only "dreaded" if we were in 1st/2nd all season and dropped into them. I think most would be happy to get into them and see what happens!

Did you vote 'no we wont make the play offs' im my poll'?
Havent been out the top four all season long, but with twelve games to go we are going to lose nearly every game and the teams below us (and one above) who are not winning now, but suddenly all will, therfore make us make a dramatic slide right out of them. ha ha. Love this forum.

I would say ...bring it on.
If someone said last May would you accept play offs, I would say yes.
We must have a chance, we have allegedly big game players plus the support. Our club if nothing else always surprises, admittedly mainly for the wrong reasons but occasionally when least expected they do bring the rabbit out of the hat....wouldnt bet against us going up via play offs whoever we play...could be a monumental day at Wembley.

Wonder how the grim reapers would feel if we had done a wigan and had been shite all season long and bottom half but then made a late charge into the play offs would feel, would they be happy then? Or still angry?

Are you sure Forest will be in the playoffs? I think Reading are more likely to get a spot, along with you, Derby and Wigan.

Our position is based on Charlie's goals predominantly - if he doesn't return sharpish and we carry on as we have been we could easily slip out of top 6 - just saying !!!

A place in the play offs for the four teams underneath the top two.
Any idea what the biggest aggregate defeat total is for the home and away leg? Bet we beat that record and get done by at least ten goals more than the previous biggest, over the two legs, dont you?
Oh no i forgot, you are absolutely certain we are going to lose every game of the remaining and not even make them. Ha ha.

Still angry mate. At least Wigan can argue that a European campaign and a decent cup run have had an impact as to how their entire season has gone. We have no excuses at all, unless the win at Exeter took more out of us than we thought.

The only consolation is that we are likely to have Charlie and Matty P back in time for them. We will have potentially better players and a better squad than whoever we are likely to face, but unfortunately, a poor manager who will no doubt just make a mess of things as he has done up till now.

Just my opinion though and desperately hope to be proved wrong.

Hes so inept, he probably wont even play charlie when hes a 100% fit and stick with keane.

Indeed, and if we lose " the best team will have lost"

Not quite sure how being flippant helps the debate. You obviously think he is a better manager than I do. Or than the results have shown.

I never once said 'its the same thing for all of the top six'.
i said 'Top six is top six, all leads to the same thing' , meaning the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth all ensure a play off place'.
