"We've got to keep going. It's going to be hard but it can happen. It was very frustrating. I thought we were just waiting for a goal to come. We had all the play, all the chances. We were strong at the back, good in midfield, making chances, but we just couldn't score.

I thought it would be a hard game but it wasn't, even though we lost. I couldn't moan at them, I thought they were excellent for 80 minutes and we got done against the run of play. Our keeper had not had a shot to save, then suddenly you're one down.

    But that's football. It happens."

Harry Redknapp refused to write off QPRs chances of automatic promotion back to the Premier League despite their latest setback, while Brighton boss Oscar Garcia was left proud.

"Tonight I can’t moan at them as they were excellent for 80 minutes but we got done completely against the run of play. It was very frustrating. We were waiting for a goal to come for us after having had all of the game and then suddenly you find yourself 1-0 down.

All the build-up play was good, we made chances but we just couldn’t get on the end of something and score. I thought it would be a hard game tonight but it wasn’t in the end even though we got beat. For 80 minutes tonight it was as good as I have seen us play all season long.

You have to keep going, it will be tough to make the top two. I just felt we didn’t get a break, we dominated the game which just needed a goal. If we got our noses in front it wouldn’t have been a problem. Will Keane worked hard tonight. I couldn’t fault his effort. Ravel (Morrison) was a different class every time he got on the ball.

We have to keep going this weekend against Yeovil.”

Pretty accurate to be fair. Just waiting for a goal to come. What a shame it didn't. Oh well, perhaps two will arrive on Saturday.

Is what HR says true?? How did we honestly play?? Reading this, we were extremely unlucky and I feel more gutted than pi$$ed off. If what HR says is true in a funny way I'm not that down about the score because we are finally starting to play good football (including the Birmingham game) for longer than 10 minutes, and this good form is just kicking in at the right time. If what HR says is true I fancy us to absolutely muller Yeovil...

He used to say something similar last season. "yeah I think we can still survive, we were unlucky, there's a good spirit, I think I can do a job, you have to believe, of course I think we can stay up, there's still plenty of games left, its going to be hard, etc etc etc "

Don't believe all you read nick . We passed it sideways against a very average side and kept possession without any threat up top . Will keane is not a striker he's a joke . Harry and the happy clappers can try and dress it up as much as they like but bottom line was it was **** . As usual

Yep. We've played worse and won earlier in the season. Brighton were lucky, but for us to be unlucky we'd have had to have failed to score some clear cut chances.....

We looked like we were relying on morrison to win the game on his own as we had nothing up front. They put two bog standard crosses in to our box and scored two goals. Not unlucky at all just same old without Austin up top! If we make the play offs which has to be doubtful it will be in spite of our manager not because of him.

                        That, is very funny.

Nevertheless, despite Harry's 'waiting for Godot' like comments, he's right. We played very well for 80 minutes, enough to have been home and hosed in other circumstances, but we weren't, they got 2 goals agaisnt the run of play and, as Harry says, 'that's football'. Generally I thought that was a very encouraging performance. Shame we didn't have Doyle (or of course Charlie), or even AJ up top.

Or even Bobby. At least he wouldve made some sort of effort despite his limited ability and fitness.

He's right in certain aspects as in we did edge the game for chances & possession but the problem is Harry with no goals in the side & a kid reserve up front it's a bit hard to score against established players.

                              Just saying.
