  • Brum Radio Commentary

Couldn't make game yesterday due to work commitments so listened to radio commentary in office. Very interesting comments made by Dave Beresfield ex Brum defender about the R's team, including:-

    1) Plenty of experience but too many old legs in team which impacts on our ability be effective in final third.

    2) Team not fit enough or running on empty due to age of players was mentioned on more than one occasion.

    3) Has been said before but if we had anyone half decent up top we should be winning games 3 or 4 nil every week.

In his summerising at the end he said Rangers were the best team they had played all season in terms of controlling possession but didn't have the right tools up front to do teams damage.

Kamara on SSN said we were in a different league but were being too casual and arrogant which meant Brum still had a chance, right up to the second goal.

Sounds like sour grapes from the Brum geeza to me. Didn't see Any lack of legs whatsoever, Armand, Jenas, Ravel and Doyle all ran their back 4 ragged and we broke in behind them countless times. What Kammy said is far nearer the mark.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Just about sums up our season. Not enough discipline in performances.

Wrong about fitness, but dead right about not having anything up front.
