I have no claim to inside knowledge mate, none whatsoever. However, common sense is all that is required in order to realise the mistakes made.

If Harry wanted M'villa, Hooper, Parker, Belfodil, N'tep or anybody else, then a simple take it or leave it offer would suffice. If they aren't that fussed about playing for QPR or playing for Harry,(Can't really blame players for either stance), then we move on in a timely fashion and go and find someone who accepts the challenge and is grateful for it. Charlie Austin immediately springs to mind as a fine example. I note Hooper and Parker have hardly enhanced their world cup prospects playing for the mighty Norwich and Fulham. Suspect Norwich and Fulham are a bit underwhelmed at what they are getting for their money.

I know many will say, you included, that it's not as simple as that, but really, it is exactly that. All about perception and how difficult you want to make things out to be.

Slightly off topic, but to demonstrate the point, let us take Neil Warnock. By far and away the best and most successful manager we have had in many a long year, who got us promoted by getting the right players, picking in the main the right team and building team sprit amongst a group of players that worked hard for the cause. Didn't have to spend millions, didn't have to buy big names, just good honest players who had the hunger and desire to succeed.

Sadly, through no fault of his own, once he had achieved what we all wanted, he was shafted. Was given no funds but more importantly, no time to bring in reinforcements to keep on improving us at a steady rate. Oh how I wish he just persevered with the lads that got us up rather than make what I believe was the disastrous errors of judgement that led to the likes of Ferdinand, Young, SWP, Barton and others to come in on big money and offer no discernible value for it. We could have found ourselves just above the relegation zone by Christmas or even in it, but having not wasted millions on dross, would no doubt have been supported financially, just as Hughes was. Hardly surprising he was got rid of really, as who would want to risk more of the same poor judgement? These mistakes were repeated by Hughes with Bosingwa, M'bia, Granero, Park, Zamora and a whole host of others. Mistakes repeated again by Harry with the likes of Benayoun, Henry, Krancjar, O'Neil, Jenas, Hughes etc etc.

Is it any wonder that we are now facing the real prospect of missing out on automatic promotion, yet posting up huge losses that no football club should be allowed to get away with? Quite simple really, Hughes and Redknapp cannot build teams, they assemble squads. Expensive ones.

It may sound like I'm just another moaner to most people. I'm really not and want everyone at QPR to succeed, but I find it galling when all these people take money from our club and deliver what can only be regarded as abject failure. Redknapp could easily have kept us up with the squad available to him, but it was his negative tactics that were to blame in my opinion. He still kept saying we could do it, that he thought we would survive. All of a sudden it wasn't his fault as no manager could have kept those players in the premier league.

At the start of this season he was happy with what we had. We only needed another two at most in January. By the end of January he has signed another load of sh1t and, by the way it's not his fault we've fallen away, as anybody who "knows football" can tell us, he claims.

It's never his fault though, is it? Although it would be easier to stomach if he accepted at least some part of the blame. And what galls me more than anything are those who, despite all the evidence pointing to the contrary, defend him and the job he has done so far. His initial brief was to keep us up. He failed. His next step was to get us up. He looks like failing again. I really wouldn't mind if we had an average team playing for a young dynamic manager and they were all on average money. But I'm sorry, one out of three isn't anywhere near good enough.

Sorry about the amount of words, but I don't possess the vocabulary to sum up quite such an alarming sequence of mis-management in one paragraph.

Here's hoping that we build upon saturday's result tomorrow evening. And that good times are around the corner.

How did we get to a situation where our forwards are AJ, Zamora, Keane, Maiga . Doyle and Austin. Obviously Austin is an out and out goal scorer at the right age, the rest of them , my god. That is a sorry list
