Most believe we paid mega money for players. Not true. Unless I've missed some players off our list from last season? I know which bunch of players I'd prefer to be trying to sell!Top Scorers 2018/2019

Ok, take Stephen Caulker vs Park; 9m vs 1m
At a guess, the wages will be something like 25k pw and 50k pw
1.25m annual vs 2.5m
After three years Cardiff have paid 12.75m, we've paid 8.5m
By this point, Caulker will be ~25 and at his prime value. He should be worth at least what Cardiff paid for him.
Park will be 35 and scratching round for a new contract. Zero transfer value.

I wish people would focus less on knocking the board and more on supporting the team.
The shareholders have lent money to the club to fund their own plans for a Premier League club to play in a big new stadium and have a good foundation. If it fails and they wnat their money back, who will they get it from? The club has no money, so it is in their interest to make a success of it. And ths is what I think they will endeavor to do.

The second group of players will be paid roughly 250k per week in total more than the first. 1m per month, 12m per year.
Over three years, those QPR players cost approx £36m more in wages than the Cardiff players.
And all the while the resale values of the 28+ year olds will be decreasing.
