    He's the ultimate underdog.

Did great for us when the fans/club had an underdog mentality. You could get away with signing Barry Hayles 5 years ago.
Now?? He wouldn't last 10 minutes, no matter how misty-eyed people are about his passion.

    And that's not his fault.

I would have Ollie back only under the following conditions.

He wins the Euro-millions rollover jackpot and buys the club-turfs out FB GP and AR.

He is manager, sporting Director and chairman.

Ollies Rrss would be in the Champions league within four years.

Oh and of course he persuades the Mittals to stay on board and invest a few billion in players

Oh dear he wins a game leaving his new team a whole 3 points ahead of us (having played a game more) and we think about having him back.

Can't wait for Swansea to win their first game or,perish the thought two in a row, and we can all guess what sort of posts will follow then!

This was back in the summer when I heard the chatter begin so current results would be irrelevant.

but why would he leave Blackpool where he is doing a good job, despite having no money to spend.for what it is worth, obviously i would prefer him to Magilton, who i fear will be rejoicing Biatores woes as it will buy him more time.

Unless he's wearing the Spark suit, no.

my top five managers of all time are
                        venables
                        francis
                        jim smith
                        alec stock
                        ian holloway

everyone of the above have that rare gift of seeing a game of football and within minuetes seeing a quality player
yes im sure theyve all made mistakes but ,these guys know there football
so i would welcome back ian holloway ,but it is all about opinion isleworth seems to feel very strongly that ollie isnt any good
and i do respect isleworths opinion ,but although i rate ollie on merrit as fifth best hes my favouret manager
SO IF HE DID COME BACK I WOULD BE OVER THE MOON

                          Ssssshhhhhh. Remember Plymouth and Leicester.

Personally, I would prefer Olly to Magilton. However, I wonder if we can attract anyone here at this time.

                              Yes I would.

He beat newcastle last night as well.

He will return as manager one day...
