Absolutely flying ATM, to say not good enough for England is laughable, what wingers are better out of current crock? He, Lallana, and even young Flanagan should be around the squad for World Cup

I agree West, looked very close to the finished article today. That first goal was sublime - got the entire defence going one way then went the other way and side-footed into the open goal. Beautiful.

Local wembley lad who came through the ranks at Rangers. Only a few years later and he's starting week in week out for the possible Premier league champions and could be on the plane to Brazil. Crazy stuff!

              Great Player this season.
Don't fancy our chances in World Cup, but Sterling has earned his seat on the plane.
And is probably a player that we need to perform well for us to stand a chance.
One of the best players in the Prem this season for me, never has a poor game when called upon.

Agreed. Only 19 as well still a lot more to come from him. Suarez is always having a go at him when he messes up a pass or run! It's hilarious mate look out for it next time you watch Liverpool play.

He is still young, but what a player to have !!!
When he gets the ball he is dangerous.
England always wanted a proper winger, someone who had belief in himself that could skin anyone who stood in his way.

Townsend seemed to be the answer to those problems a while back. Seems now he's gone missing and now Sterling's taken advantage.

I rate Townsend, as he is another Old Skool Winger that ain't afraid to take players on.
He is miles behind Sterling though.

Personally, I would take Townsend and Sterling to World Cup, but that won't happen as some big name would have to be dropped.

There's no way we will not take Rooney, but i would leave him out.
