To be fair mate, 4th is very good considering the way we have been playing.

Though I think you will find that the way we have been playing is by far the biggest problem, along with the person that has overseen it. In over 40 years of watching Rangers, I've obviously seen our fair share of poor players and poor performances, but in all seriousness, I simply cannot ever remember getting to March and realising that we haven't put a really good 90 minutes together all season, or feeling that a group of players have so badly underperformed.

My biggest worry about Redknapp which I'm sure many will accept, is what have we seen from him since the day he arrived, that would make anybody at all think he could do any better next season? It was clear last season he wasn't up to the job. He has ensured dire football throughout the entirety of this season and I for one, am not at all excited about having this same discussion, yet again, next season. It is highly frustrating, as I'm sure you would agree.

I know there will be some who won't want to hear this but the truth is I think many people have vastly underestimated the quality and passion of some of the teams in the Championship.

After the success of our promotion season and all the spending people have lost sight of fight. Harry has said all season it's a tough league! Obviously I wanted us to win the league and yes 4th is good and we're entitled to expect more, that's when being a fan comes into it, support and encouragement! We shouldn't lose our heads over this.

I've noticed that a lot of fans in this league have warped sense of entitlement. There's been a lot of resentment from northern fans towards us because of our money, history (lack of) and stature and I'm sensing that from some of our own fans.

We need more humility, it will make us more deserving and victory that sweeter!

I don't really understand your point.

Man Utd are 7th, 6 points ahead of Southampton who are 9th.

Yet ask anyone, and they will say Man Utd are struggling. And ask anyone, and they will say Southampton aren't struggling.

Which shows that league position is only part of the criteria to see whether a team is struggling or not.

Also, a team could have won their first 20 games and then lost their next 7. This team will probably still be top, but I am sure everyone would say that they are now struggling.

So, yes, because we are in a position lower than we should be, because our record against teams in the top 6 is abysmal, and because our recent form has been rubbish, I will say it again - yes, we are struggling no matter how much you or Harry lovers might try and pretend otherwise.

Oh. I think your mate from West London was under the impression that you were defending Harry on the basis that we are fourth, not fourteenth. And that the manager is not at fault for the position we are in or the way we have been playing.

To be fair, I think I have misunderstood too.

Whatever the case, no harm in a bit of good humoured debate, regardless of us all,(well, a certain resident of kent aside ), being thoroughly fed up about it.

All this continuity talk is really not rubbish. I repeat, I'm not a fan of Redknapp, but to put it in a different perspective, one problem about getting rid of him now is who you would bring in his place? It takes time for a manager to get to know a group of players (that's why it is almost never a good idea to bring in ten or more new faces during a close season) and although you sometimes get a "dead-cat bounce" with a new manager, it rarely lasts - if ever. Loads of clubs have tried it (Leicester City tried it three times in one season FFS) and I can't think of one where it has worked.

As I've said several times in different places, you are fourth, and you are still above the two teams who came down with you last season. You've a game in hand, and you should win at St Andrews - Birmingham haven't won at home since 14 January. Keep the faith: well, keep the ball, anyway.

Charlton hadn't won at home since Nov/Dec either

Like he stated a while ago; "I am the best person to take this team up".
Bottomline for me: In Harry I trust, I think!! On a more serious note, I would have thought would have been in a much better position if Without so many key-players injured.

Goes back to what I said earlier about my mate from west london clearly not understanding my posts.
My point was, and remains, that it would be pointless sacking him now with 15 games left, and if we are going to sack him, wait till the season finishes. I dont know how much clearer I couldve put it to be fair lol.
But yeah, he hasnt understood that, resorted to personal insults on numerous occasions (as have I once or twice to be fair), and no matter how much I tried to explain he didnt get it. Ah well. Hopefully he does now.
