Flavio will NOT be leaving QPR

will wait and see what happens Monday....
Symonds is bang to rights from the radio transcripts, and Flavio as team principal will inevitably take the blame with him from the FIA...
from the Transcripts, Flavio told Piquet that he had to "Push" (could be entirely innocent, could be conceived as as code by the FIA), and immediately after the crash Flavio demanded to know where Alonso would end up with a safety car before enquiring as to whether Nelsinho was OK...
all could be viewed entirely innocently, but the FIA clearly dont think so as it forms part of their case on monday

The radio transcript looks inconclusive but the FIA questions put to Symonds and his responses are pretty damming.
Of cource its convceivable that Symonds acted independantly of Briatore but for anyone who follows formula one at all or has seen anything of how Briatore manages it seems pretty unlikely to me.
Thing is there are all sorts of scenarios here and at the moment we done really know anything, just making assumptions, no doubt more will be revealed in the coming days and weeks. Sooner its all sorted out the better because in the meantime it will no doubt be an unsettling influence on the club.its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

press previews look like the papers will be full of it.
Buy the Daily Mirror, Oliver Holt likes sucking upto Bernie..and predicted today what was happening to Flavio
He'll probably be the best paper to read with a nice knees on the floor giving some pleasure to bernie and flavio and how well they'll do for us positive spin.
The other papers will focus on flavio being a ****** and how magilton should be bricking it

Which makes your title of this thread seem a bit of a contradiction?!
I tend to think that you and everyone are making assumptions too. We all have today.
But there are a couple of certainties:
Briatore is out of Formula 1, and will have quite a lot of time on his hands now to persue his other interests. The main one being QPR.
The Football League are waiting to see what (if anything) he's found guilty of on monday, and are watching closely.
What this has done today is ripped opened the can of worms about FB.
I don't believe many people are either defending him, or wanting to see the back of him because he might/might not have cheated at a big game of Scalextric.
All this has done is forced people to finally declare if they want him at QPR or not. And if he's been good for QPR or not. And if he's been a success or a failure.. at QPR.
Not poxy F1.Last edited by Robbo; 17-09-2009, 01:41 AM.
