  • Jenas keen to sign new QPR deal

Jermaine Jenas, whose contract expires this summer, says he “definitely” wants a new deal at QPR.

Quite a few seem to be keen on signing new contracts, probably aware they wont be getting a similar deal elsewhere.

Im of the opinion he isn't what we need going forward and doesn't really offer much.

Like 80-90% of our squad, his best days are behind him.

Thoughts? Would you keep or send him packing?

Of course he wants to sign a new contract, he gets a shed load of money for not doing a lot and knows full well he wont get that anywhere else.

If we're looking to build a decent squad for the future, IMO he's definitely one of the one's that needs to be replaced.

if harry is still manager i expect the likes of jenas, benhyoun, zamora and dunne to be given new contracts.

they are after all "his sort" of players.

however much we dont want these players we should expect and fear the worst.

Well we pay fantastic wages down here at QPR, we always offer great deals to past it players.

No thanks. Not even half the player he was 4-5 years ago.

                  Get rid.

He can jog on, as well as 6 or 7 others,we know who they are, bet they get injured doing it though.

We better promote 1-2 of our hungry youngsters next season than wasting positions on past it players. At least Hitchock, Harriman and Ehmar should be with team next season

His one wage alone could pay for two to three young player wages, players of the future who we can bring in.

That is what I would do, we already have some great young players. Start scouting boys and let the new season begin.

On saturday he was getting up my nose when he was waiting for doyle to be treated. I sit in r and it was all for the camera near to him, little claps to the home support and loads of keeping close to that corner flag making sure no one wanted to take his 5 minutes, posing by the corner flag like the big I am. I cant remember one occasion before when he has come towards us for support or to acknowledge us.
                          New contract time methinks.

                          Fair play for scoring though!

That free kick first half when he lazily blasted it over everyone's head towards sar and out of touch was outrageous . For a pro let alone a brilliantly paid one to do that is unacceptable . Few decent goals for us but generally pathetic , no way should he get a new contract .....which means he probably will
