Funny seeing the revisionism over the last month or so. Go back to an Adel thread from ~October or so and it's full of people saying he was never good enough for top flight football.QPR fan since1987

Joe Jordan: Taarabt Future Up To Him And AC Milan
Taarabt is currently on loan at Milan from QPR and Jordan believes a permanent move would be down to the player and the Rossoneri to discuss.
“It doesn’t depend on us,” the former Milan and Hellas Verona forward told MilanNews.it.
“You need to be asking Milan and Taarabt. The possibility of signing permanently for Milan is down to the player, who has these next few months to experience and then evaluate his adventure in Italy.
He is a player of great talent and ability who can score goals and create assists. He is now showing this at Milan. I think he has realised the great opportunity he has been given to go to a prestigious club like Milan. Because of this he has been looking to make a good impression from the first possible moment.”

Every few months that go by another bit of the real story behind Taarabt comes out and gradually even his devoted fan club will see how disrespectful he has been to the club, managers and most of all the supporters.
Complete waste of time who will always fail in the end, as an old saying goes a leopard never changes his spots.
Anyway, English is Adel's third language after Arabic and French, and I am assuming he gave the interview in English as he doesn't speak Italian. Maybe by "wasted" he meant he played at a level below than he should have. If that's the case, I would agree with him, as he was clearly too good for the Championship and should have been playing in a bigger team on a bigger stage.
Of course, you just hate the guy to such a degree that you want to try and blame him for everything.

To be honest as I have said many times let's see where he is in 6-12 months, if that's Milan then we will all be happy, his fans as they can say he has found his level etc and those that arenot so convinced of his abilities and attitude because he will no longer be at our club and we will have a few million.

But he seems to have knuckled down and has his head in the right place so for once he cannot be knocked for his attitude. Must say as well the photo I saw of him the other day with Kaka he looked remarkably slim too like he had lost over a stone looked like an athlete

If a coach says something bad about Adel, it is because he genuinely means it and it can't be for other reasons, like trying to hide his own poor management and making Adel a scapegoat?
Yep, I was right - you're a hypocrite who employs double standards.

I was merely pointing out the hypocrisy at how some try and cling onto everything he says to make him sound bad. Even when he says something respectful, like when he signed for Fulham, he said one day he would like to be back at QPR (and he didn't need to say this), he still gets no credit.
