Whoever the new manager is will need to be carefully chosen with the next 3 years in mind, he will have a lot of rebuilding to do next season as 15 players are out of contract and he will need to start again fresh.

I don't have an opinion either way about Laudrup really but at least he is a modern, forward looking manager whose team talks are unlikely to resemble a John Smith's advert and who might actually sign some good up and coming players rather than old cronies who are basically being signed on a very generous form of incapacity benefit to sit on the treatment table.
      Well said!

Do you remember when we hired and sacked 3 managers in one season? The QPR calander had a new manager every month.

Laudrup got the swans too far too fast, then couldn't get the backing he wanted for more players (tho he got some) due to being in the europa league. He saw what was coming. As I've said before, this competition can be the kiss of death for lower placed prem teams who haven't got enough class players to fight on two fronts. I think he fell out with Jenkins over this.

'Following Swansea's 1–0 win over Newcastle United on 2 March 2013[38] and the club moving into 8th position in the top-half of the Premier League table and seemingly safe from relegation with 40 points and 10 games left, Laudrup told that he wanted Swansea to finish eighth. Saying that it would be "incredible" and that "coming eighth [will be] like winning the league" for the club. Because he felt "the first seven spots" were already taken by Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton.[39] On 3 March 2013, though Laudrup had said that his "intention" was "to stay" in south Wales for the next year, Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins said that the club were in the "process of looking for the next manager" of the club in case Laudrup did choose to leave the club'.[40]

Madness, most smaller clubs think of themselves as a lot bigger than they are.. We've seen it before "a few" times.

Yes we shoud as keeping him will cost us the chance of promotion. Every manager around us have worked him out so if we do make the play offs them teams have our number and opinion is based on the results against them.

I think he should do the decent thing and resign. He won't though, as reading that talksport article, he seems to think that most of us would have been happy making the play offs. This just demonstrates how stupid he is. Why on earth would the overwhelming, odds on favourites to win the league with a massive playing budget in Championship terms, be happy with a play off spot?

He's an overrated and clueless manager. The sort of bloke who would have been happy to finish 14th if he were managing Burnley with their squad.

Just go Harry. Save your moaning, whingeing and bleating for those who haven't heard it often enough over 30 years.

its very hard for me to say this but i will swallow my pride for this one comment.

even warnkock won promotion with the likes of hulse, makie, derry and other limited players.

redcrapp has spunked 12mil and we are scraping a few wins here and there but cant seem to get more than four shots on goal in any game.

he needs to fark off weather tony pays him off or not.

may as well include zamora as harry loves him utter utter shyte

doyle 30s and shyte. dont care if he scored two goals he is still shyte and wont get many more.

miaga spent half a day in traning harry sent him back and had seen enough only to pop up at 10 50pm on transfer deadline day that harry has signed him another peice of dross.

will keane. yep he will bang in the goals for sure.

dellatorre. harry has never heard of him or seen him play. our scout who lives in norwich recommended him so harry say why not. not fit and wont be anytime soon. soom good this boy is going to do for us.

hughes signings were not half as bad as this lot.

so much for buying young and hungry players hey tony!
