When you factor in the overall level of player related investment since TF took over - and remember, loans are never a free hit - those who claim to be satisfied can maybe begin to grasp why others beg to differ.
Excellent post - You will not get one Redknapp backer give you a decent response after that. Says it all

personally have no expectations whatsoever, whatever happens, happens, so never disappointed. It's all out of my and all fans control anyway. So ,to answer your question....if we get in a relegation battle.
          B) Yes
          C) That's on the assumption, he will mess up next year as well. No one knows do they. If he does, No.
Well, if you're happy with 7th, fair play to you. You may not be disappointed.

          Well said, yet again.

And now, Clint expresses his surprise at the talk of Redknapp getting the bullet:
Clint Hill describes speculation about QPR manager Harry Redknapp's future as “weird” and “ridiculous”.

It's the last sentence that worries me most though. They usually trot out this line before proceeding to make the same mistakes over and over again. Be nice if they actually did for once.

who said anything about 7th in particular? you've obviously set your stall out this season to expect nothing other than auto promotion, so you're going to be disappointed......you'd probably be disappointed with third. Started the season with an open mind personally, so if qpr finish outside playoffs, so be it. Nothing I nor anyone else can do but to accept that. FACT, so not worth crying over. Anyway it hasn't happened yet, we'll see. Wouldn't mind not going up in fact...quite like the Championship!

I asked if you thought HR should stay if we missed out on the play offs. You said you thought he should.

              Surely you weren't thinking 8th?

Amazing how you get no response from HR backers on a very valid post from hal9thou

Harry Redknapp was never here to build 'for the long term' that was obvious. He was brought in to try & help keep us up & when it wasn't the next step was getting back up at the first shout which we are in a good position to do believe it or not. Why do you think he's brought in so many of his own players? Because he trusts them. Yes I'm also frustrated with recent performances & results but if there was 3-4 games to go in the season I'd be worried but there's not. Plenty of points to play for & once we are back up we can think of a smarter policy regarding the future.

Our owners have done so much dough the last few years coupled with relegation anything other than an instant return would be a disaster so any long term strategy would have to be put on hold so we can just get back up any which way that's pretty obvious. Yes it looks like we're going to do it ugly if we are but as I said getting up is número uno.

Think that's the main reason for the negativity. It's absolutely crucial, but most of us would have accepted not quite making it if there were an obvious plan in place for the future or signs of improvement. So stating that those that are unhappy are either flapping or b1tches, is a little harsh. We were prepared to be patient, for the right progression.

But there hasn't been a single sign for me yet. All I see is a huge squad, getting increasingly swollen by average players who have played for Harry before. Coupled with abysmal football all season long and a so called "blip" of one point from 12, it's getting increasingly hard to see why things would suddenly change, despite hoping they will.
