On the day that Taarabt scored again for Milan.

Well done H. We're lucky to have you.

Not Harrys biggest fan at the mo but how can you blame him for two players who never wanted to be at the club not being here??

A good manager would have made them want to be here. Just as a good manager gets season long performances out of squads like Leicester and Burnley.

If we get one, we might be able to attract decent players once again. Can see why Hooper chose Norwich and Parker chose Fulham now.

Not great choices, but on balance...

Boosting their value which is good. Hopefully we can get some decent young players in with the money.

Taarabt would have been a nightmare to have around if he weren't aloud to leave, and Remy wanted to be playing top flight football as it's a World Cup yr.IF we get promoted I'd sell Adel and keep remy.

You really need to go to watch Crawley as soon as B, you really do have it in for Harry and QPR! A change of club for a while might be of benefit!

Pathetic how harry is being blamed for everything now, lemme see one of you build a completely new team without a big amount of cash and then get automatic promotion

TW, although it appears that way, I haven't got it in for anyone.

I haven't anything personally against Harry. You will never see me jump on the bandwagon about him being a wheeler dealer, corrupt etc. I happen to believe that he was totally innocent with that business involving Mandaric, tax loopholes and Rosie. I think it is a disgrace that the bloke had to go through all that and to be regarded as a crook. In fact, I would go as far as to say I admire him for doing so well in the game as a player and manager. Moreso, I think he is a genuinely lovely bloke and a fantastic family man who appears to have lived his life in a good way. An example to many.

My irritation is based on the fact that he was never what we needed and always going to flop, due only to his old fashioned and outdated methods.

I wish him well in whatever he does, just wish he does it elsewhere now. Enough is enough.

Yes I can see that conversation now

'Loic Newcastle are interested in you and they play in front 52k and I know its a world cup year but I want you to play Tuesday nights at Yeovil and follow that up with a game at Bournemouth and Loic you can play on the cabbage patch pitch known as the valley you fancy it son??'

Be serious if we tried to sign Remy when we were in the championship he would not even have spoken to us why do you think he would have wanted to play in it just because he was already with us???

The point I am trying to make, although I don't think you would agree, is that they are both QPR players and as such should just get on with it. In my opinion, it is far from OK to sign for a club and a few months later decide that you don't really fancy it. If they were free transfers or not paid very much, then it isn't so much of a problem. But in Remy's case, we paid a lot of money to get him here and a lot in wages whilst he was. If anybody, either the manager or the owner agreed to such a deal in order to sign them, which I suppose may have been the case with Remy, then the fault lies squarely with whoever it was.

It is highly likely that we would have scored over 100 goals during the course of the season had we had those two in the team along with Austin. That would have guaranteed us promotion. I doubt if Remy would have passed on the opportunity to score 35 goals to enhance his claim to a place in the France team, in order simply to sulk and stamp his feet.

I for one am sick and tired of players deciding that they can do as they please, as and when they want, whilst we as a club pay them and risk our financial future pandering to them. Let's face it Wests, Harry couldn't even attract the likes of Gary Hooper and Scott Parker, so I can see why our two who are way better, didn't want to play for Harry.

Using an example similar to yours, do you think (I know it is just as extreme), that if Guardiola had arrived in pre-season, that either would have left, knowing what was very likely to happen? I don't.

I do agree with you actually but your initial point was not making them stay but persuading them too that was your point mate. I would argue he could not attract those you mention not because he is Harry Rednapp but more so they had better options in the premier league; had we been in the top flight I have no doubt both would be playing in hoops. I am genuinely surprised you think the modern day footballer would play in a lower league when they have better options in a higher one

If Pep had arrived pre season and we had gone for the two players I would have expect them to still be playing for the teams they do as premier league football trumps everything else in a players minds
