Instead, we sent all our young guys out on loan, and brought in a full squad of loanees and has-beens to bring us up. We plugged the hole in our sinking ship with gum instead of properly fixing it.

Charlie Austin was a great signing. Matty Phillips is a great signing. There young, and could mesh with our Academy players. But then there were questionable signings. When Danny Simpson went down, Harry brought in Aaron Hughes, a 34 year old out of favor defender who can play the entire backfield. So, instead of letting someone like Michael Harriman get a chance to have a half season under is belt, we are letting an out of favor retiree get caps.

You can make arguments for almost every one of Harry's loan signings, BAE is good one week, **** poor the next. Will Keane is the same age as Tom Hitchcock FFS, so why didn't we just recall one of our own? Questions like this need to be answered by not only Harry, but Phil Beard as well. Phil's let Sparky play FIFA Ultimate Team in real life, and now let Harry does this :(

Does anyone else feel this way?
Mate I couldn't agree more in regards to bringing our own through, I've always said that. Its about finding that happy medium a mix of young and experienced. But when is it right to risk our new young players.... in a promotion chasing side or a side trying to stay in the premiership? .... I don't know.

        Nor do I! haha
Tom Hitchcock's goal total in 10 games-5 Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora's goal Totals since joining the club (47 games)- 8. Tom Hitchcock's Age-21 Will Keane's Age-21. Will Keane's goal total in 7 games-0. WHY ISNT TOM HITCHCOCK PLAYING FOR US

We all cry out for stability yet after a bad run of form we call for the manager's head. I say give him until the end of the season. What good will come from sacking him now? He's our best option if we want to go up, and besides no one will leave their club mid season to manage us, all the names suggested on here are doing well where they are.

Now that is a sensible post Nik. If someone new came in, it's still the same players. One man could do it i reckon and that's Neil Warnock. He did it before, but i can't see him wanting anything to do
with us again and who could blame him

Because by the end of the season morale will be rock bottom and Hr will just walk away and the new manager will have two months
to get a team together for next season.

This season has been dire football tactically naïve and utter dross to watch and Hr will just walk away

I'm a Leicester City fan. Last February/March, City nosedived from second to seventh (sound familiar?), during an 11-match run when we lost seven, drew three and won just the one. On 1 April, when we lost to Barnsley, someone started a thread on my "home" forum (Foxes Talk) entitled "Sack him now!" - the "him" being Nigel Pearson. What that poster didn't take into account was that (a) seventh was a higher position than we'd had under any manager other than Pearson since 2003, and (b) that we'd not lost any match by more than a single goal all season.

Fortunately, our owners didn't panic and in the end we got to the playoffs (great last Saturday of the season) where we lost to Watford. This season, no-one has suggested that Pearson should be sacked (apart from some f***wit who said that before the first match of the season had even started) and you know the rest of the story.

I am not a particular fan of Redknapp, to be honest, but sacking him now would be utterly stupid. For a start, who are you going to get to replace him? You're fourth, and you have 45 points still to play for this season: that's not a bad position to be in, is it?

Pearson and Redknapp isn't a reasoned comparison.

Two very different managers, with very different type of squads, at very different clubs, with very different type of owners.

                              IMO

I'm not saying that Pearson and Redknapp are comparable, but the situations that QPR are in now and that City were in last April are exactly comparable. Sacking Redknapp at this stage of the season would be utterly stupid: look what's happened at Craven Cottage FFS.
