I think there's a deeper problem at the club. BAE is a good player, as are the likes of Kranjcar and Hoilett, yet all have underperformed for a while.
I'm beginning to think this stuff about Redknapp being a great man manager is a bit of a myth. If he was that good he should've been able to sort Adel out, as NW did.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

If you still think we had 4 in defence, ask yourselves why Clint Hill was never more than 20 metres from Richard Dunne while Aaron Hughes was playing the Dani Alves role, often further forward than Traore on the far side.
If we're playing wingbacks, Traore's pace and attacking threat makes him a good shout over BAE. Hill isn't much good as a traditional left back let alone wing-back, so he wouldn't have been considered there. I thought Hughes was surprisingly good considering how far up the pitch he played. I had him down as a classic donkey centre half before he joined us.

Here's a team that we could've put out this season, if we'd kept some of our loanees, not allowed two players to go on loan, and of course being injury-free:
Cesar
Simpson Ned Dunne BAE
Phillips Barton Faurlin Adel
Austin Remy
Just a thought.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
