BAE has openly said he has no interest in football and it is just a job to him.

      Bit exaggerated tbf mate

The Tottenham defender admits to being a mercenary and tells David Hytner how he prefers to put the game's unreal world behind him
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Could BAE be played in another position? I just ask this question purely out of "desperation"?

I think there's a deeper problem at the club. BAE is a good player, as are the likes of Kranjcar and Hoilett, yet all have underperformed for a while.

I'm beginning to think this stuff about Redknapp being a great man manager is a bit of a myth. If he was that good he should've been able to sort Adel out, as NW did.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

yup. looking at the reactions on here, other forums and facebook, its surprising how few people seem to have picked up on this. first time we've played a back three under Redknapp? I can't think of another time anyway.

If you still think we had 4 in defence, ask yourselves why Clint Hill was never more than 20 metres from Richard Dunne while Aaron Hughes was playing the Dani Alves role, often further forward than Traore on the far side.

If we're playing wingbacks, Traore's pace and attacking threat makes him a good shout over BAE. Hill isn't much good as a traditional left back let alone wing-back, so he wouldn't have been considered there. I thought Hughes was surprisingly good considering how far up the pitch he played. I had him down as a classic donkey centre half before he joined us.

But do still bear in mind that three physical players like Simpson, M Phillips and Austin are out....

Exactly. That defensive ploy was the only positive to take from the game. And thinking how Barton (with Benayoun??) in the middle can link with Morrison in the free role. Thought Holliett was very disappointing in his free role today. Still s hit up front if we have to perverse with Doyle or the Mailian. I'd play Keane and see what he can do.

Fair point. Of our team today then, I'd say Green, Dunne, Hughes, Hill, Traore, Onuoha, Hoilett, Henry and Benayoun care. Lots of others out injured that put in a shift, plenty that don't.

Here's a team that we could've put out this season, if we'd kept some of our loanees, not allowed two players to go on loan, and of course being injury-free:

                      Cesar

                      Simpson Ned Dunne BAE

                      Phillips Barton Faurlin Adel

                      Austin Remy

                      Just a thought.

On paper that team would of walked this league.

Dunne was shouting 'Can you hear me, I'm really sorry, I should have doubled up there with you'. And BAE shouted back, 'yes, get it right next time'.
