    Well said

He's leaking goals, give it a month and he'll be getting the Carroll treatment

          Which FA is it with?

Whats your history of coaching, clubs age groups etc ?

          Are you still coaching now?

As I say not a wind up genuinely interested.
I accept it's all about opinions fella, I just find some of the comments about Green too inaccurate to leave alone. I don't come on here in any other capacity than as a Rangers fan and don't like to post in a way that suggests I know more because of xy&z because it makes me cringe when some people do that.
All my coaching badges are through the Welsh FA (there's good reasons for that but I'm not going to bore the world with that) and yes, I still do some coaching with the FA (soccer school program set up several years ago that I was involved with) and at grass roots. I also do some (guess you would call it) Corporate work which centres around Burton/St Georges Park set up and get invited to various seminars and other events on behalf of various people in the game.
I've also worked with some proper "names" in terms of coaching and conditioning but never got to "top level" coaching because, firstly I didn't play at a high enough level to qualify for the "jobs for the boys" route and also because for longer than I care to remember I've been running my own business which takes up all the time in the world, when not following Rangers around the Country

Green very average keeper slow to move his feet and woeful dealing with the high ball. Today not only did he fail to deal with the cross how did he get beat from the that angle with no pace on the ball.
I have been thinking the same thing for at least a week before his error at Derby.

He was performing out of his skin early on this season, but I am guessing that was because Cesar was still around. However, once Redknapp (around mid Dec) made it clear that Cesar was not going to be included at all this season , I think Green let down his guard. How many clean sheets has he kept since the Blackpool game (toothless Watford is all that springs to mind)

Green has no real competition now and we can all see the difference in performances. I haven't read any other comments on this thread, but the Charlton goal was not too dissimilar to the goal that Cesar conceded at home to West Ham last season and got slated for by some on this board.

I don't really buy into the whole he's let a few in because there's no real competition.
Green's a pro. I can't see him switching off mid way through a game because his position is safe. sometimes goalies are at fault and sometimes there not, its all apart of the game.

Thanks for the update but a little confused as you accept it's all about opinions then state the comments about Green were too inaccurate to leave alone? I am also a little confused by your statement that you don't wish to use those qualifications to claim you know more than others then suggest that very thing.

I appreciate you don't wish to share your reasons for taking the Welsh FA coaching courses rather than those available through the English FA and that is your choice. To be honest it is a very dangerous game to start quoting qualifications as there is always someone who is far more qualified (you didn't state the level you achieved so not sure if that actually applies) which is exactly why I don't do it. It would be very easy for me to say that my English FA UEFA A licence, coaching positions at three professional clubs and the direct involvement in developing several professional first team players including a current Premier league and England under 21 player, make my opinion valid but I won't as it is just that, an opinion.

I am sure Green was happy to take all the acclaim when he was keeping a succession of clean sheets when much of that was to do with the defense in front of him. Consequently he and his supporters should accept any criticism that comes his way when he makes fairly routine errors.
