agreed 77 he in my mind a more defensive player but I still think he can give us more going forward than henry who would probably be his replacement, also agree most of their midfild were better although not the lump from Chelsea, they were better than our whole midfield on the whole hence the long periods of possession they had.however it was good to see everyone put in the graft to get us a win.

He shows for the ball and then no-one else shows to receive it is another way of looking at it.

Average at best. Gives the ball away too easy. I have not seen the potential in him to be an establish ELP. But who knows as he is still young and should get stronger but distribution has to improve.

IMO his 2 best games for us have been Boro and Wigan. He was very good last night, and better at Boro.

I think the term is 'fickle fans'.. great performance from Carroll last night. Typical that were shooting down a young English talent already. And he is what 20?

He was far from perfect tonight, a few stray passes, but no more than anybody else. In fact, he made more successful passes than anybody else IMO. Proper scapegoat.
The voice of reason as usual Matty. I don't think I have seen a player divide opinion so much since you know who.
I like LTC a lot and he will become a very good player I believe. He always shows, looks to move the ball on quickly and has a great attitude. The abuse he gets from some of the crows is embarrassing to be honest. I have someone behind me in X block who gets straight on his back.

That's really frustrating, isn't it? Like yesterday, he got the ball 20 yards from the goal, 1vs1, no-one else nearby and what was his decision? Turned around and passed wide! Had about 3-4 chances to shoot, but didn't. Some improvements in last two games, must admit - he now passes the ball to someone else than our full backs only.

Heres just a thought, how about for the last few games we get behind the starting 11 and subs bench whoever they are, can make a real difference

Oh yea Timmy.. Remember when he made that run round Barton and drove the ball back Clint and Yossi for us to score the goal that won the game?

Was he involved? That was goal of the season, so far.
