  • RIP Frank Duguid

Heard today that Frank Duguid died this morning. Frank was another one of those faces at Rangers who had been there for years. Can remember Frank going back to the 80s. He was from Westbourne Park He worked on the Number 7 bus and for years worked as a steward down the Rangers. Lovely bloke. Always very friendly and was often following Rangers away from home. Had a very good singing voice too. RIP Frank
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

    RIP Frank.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Not sure how you do it, but on Facebook you'll be able to see a good pic of him. Perhaps someone else will be able to do it??

Blo0dy hell. Been a familiar face down the R's for donks. Never said much, a quiet fella but a die hard all the same.

              Rest in peace Frank.

Really sad news and most knew him simply as Black Frank because he was part and parcel of QPR

He used to travel a lot on the LSA coaches donkeys years ago and I recall him fast asleep through a whole game at Birmingham once

It will be interesting to see if the club do anything for an ex steward considering he was in many peoples opinion fitted up when some radios went missing from the club a few years ago and he was sacked over it despite him always maintaining his innocence and everyone I know believed him

                        RIP Frank

                            Yep know the face
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Without sounding unsympathetic to someone whos passed here, but what do you think the club could do to honour a man they rightly or wrongly sacked for stealing?
These days of the the internet and social media the club gets so many requests from people who are ill or or charity etc, it must be so difficult to keep everyone happy.
