This is something I don't understand, we were scraping out 1-0 wins home and away keeping the ball and many thought we should attack more and turn teams over, be more pleasing to the eye! Now we are set up in a 4-4-2 teams are running through our midfield and we aren't getting the results and people aren't pleased! I am not paying the money to go to the match but I'll take whatever system gets us results at this point, even if it isn't pleasing to the eye!

Expectation can be relative and ever evolving, particularly when it involves something we are passionate about.
Like a lot of fans at the start of the season, I thought we'd end up mid table or worse.
It's happened to many a club once relegated from the prem and I assumed some of our big names would either jump ship or wouldn't have the stomach for the championship.
You could argue Harry has been the master of his own downfall.
Because of our position for the first half of the season expectations rose but have been dented recently and people are now questioning his capabilities as a manager.
I'd like to think I'm fairly philosophical when it comes to Qpr but football really can lift you then crush you, isn't that why we love it so much.
To those that didn't expect promotion this season but, like me, allowed themselves to start believing it might happen, it's not over yet but try and remember what you thought would happen before the season kicked off, it might just save your sanity.
To those that thought we would walk this league, hats off, I truly admire you optimism.

Cheers gator, just a more long winded reiteration of what's already been said by some.

Gator ,if you take my post in connection with TWs that i quoted ,it was supposed to be tongue in cheek ,not always easy to get across over the internet ,i admit

Done because i am one of the " attractive football is more important than results " brigade ,but not at the cost of relegation to the 1st division.

              For me,

It's not about our league position. Or where we have been... or where we are going...

1.) It's how poorly we have played this season

2.) I just haven't enjoyed it for some reason. Even when we were top, and winning lots. Very rarely has it been good to watch or entertaining

3.) Harry seems disinterested to me. And I'm quickly getting closer to join him.... sadly...

The thing I don't understand is why people keep implying that you can't play attractive football AND get good results doing it. Empirical evidence suggests the exact opposite - just look at Man Utd!

You set your stall out to play a particular way and results are what they are; you can't necessarily make them better by changing to be boring or more entertaining. I believe we have for the most part been an entertaining team over the years and that is one of the reasons I am extremely disappointed that HR has set our stall out to play the most boring and unimaginative football it has ever been my misfortune to witness from QPR. We should play more enterprising football AND win! And if HR isn't up to the job then let's get in somebody who is.

For me the most frustrating thing is our defence, as it was rock solid.
Now, you worry when any team attacks us.
Whether the confidence has gone a bit, but the defence don't seem to play as a team.

That is a worry. The one thing we could be fairly certain of up until recently was a mean defence.
My first assumption was that because we are toothless up front, the defence have to work that bit harder as the ball isn't up the other end for very long. When that's the case lapses in concentration are more likely and after a few goals have been conceded, in an otherwise solid defence, confidence starts to dip.
The thing is we haven't actually been battered week in week out. In a lot of games we've had plenty of possession and the defence haven't exactly had to face wave upon wave of attacks so its not as clear cut.
Strangely a similar thing seemed to happen under warnock in our promo season but at that point in time conceding the odd goal in a game wasn't the be all.

attractive football in a small stadium with no one that wasn't born locally?

Same. And even in the same style as last time under warnock.
