Looking at previous threads prior to the start of the season most thought that we would be around mid table , some even relegation , looking at the table last night we still have every chance of either auto promotion or a play off final , I am aware that we are playing not to our true capabilities but we are in a position that we all felt not possible prior to the season start. We have a completly new team and maybe we should support them and the manager more....instead of just pointing out the bad.....especially the 80% per cent of the supporters who were certain of the mid table finish and relegation lol.

We could always go back to the days of Mick Hartford etc ....if you all wanted...

I know its not great but its not over yet....

It's not as cut and dried as saying it's either this or going back to the Mick Harford days. I expected so much more from this so called strongest squad in the division. We have been very poor of late and I'm looking for reasons for why we are so poor.

I was of the belief that we would struggle and probably be in mid table, or worse! After the team got off to a flying start my expectations changed somewhat and now I am feeling we have under achieved, The Championship is a long haul with many ups and downs!

the underachievement has been the style of football played ( and the woeful failure ,thats happened when the system has been changed ) ,not the league position imo

I think you've highlighted 2 very very good points that people either miss or simply just brush aside, and that is most thought we would either be mid or bottom of the league by now and also that we are a completely new side.

In theory it should take seasons for a brand new team to really gel, but yet we find ourselves constantly right in the mix. Ok we've not played great football but the players are still getting to know each other.

...not as many as in a relegation battle......the doom and glooms would have field day in a relegation situation and love it!!!!
