I'm not expecting him to be Einstein. And I don't care how intelligent he appears if he does what's required on the pitch. However, he really didn't come across well in the interview and he clearly doesn't enjoy doing them. Paul Morrissey had to virtually answer every question for him. If I was the media team, I would not have felt compelled to publish that particular interview...it's not like we HAVE to see interviews with all the players. And it feels almost fairer to the lad not to publish it - I guess he agreed however, so be it.

Agree with you. I think in a case like this it should not have been published because there is zero benefit in doing so.

When a player is as monosyllabic and inarticulate as this it does no one any favours and in such cases by him not doing interviews it would just enhance the mystique from a PR perspective, so it would in fact be a positive.
