even if he signed today, QPR still dont have a game until Saturday, so he wont be playing any sooner. He can sign on Friday and still play at Charlton.
Anyway he is not the Messia, so whats the hurry. its not as if QPR will suddenly become the most fluent attacking and successful side in the Championship.
