Bernie and Flavio are good friends.

Bernie does more for this club, than many realise.

Still, not sure it makes a difference to QPR what has happened, time will tell if I'm wrong

That's the point, he has more money than most Chairmans, but he gets other people to do the work for him, not any old guy can get a F1 team winning championships, Flavio did with what he had.

its more about match fixing, and flav is more than capable of that if he asked a driver to crash;playing with a drivers life that is horrendous

I've seen michael schumacher take someone off the road to win the championship and other F1 drivers do the same, nothing was said about that.

Making your team lose so a rival team can win would indeed be a scandal from which he wd not recover. But am I alone in not being overly shocked by these revelations? I'm no great formula one fan these days but one driver being asked to slow up or pull out or whatever for his team-mate has gone on for years, quite openly. Agree asking someone to actually crash is a bit more extreme - if proved - but I suspect Flavio might just have been caught doing what loads of other managers do in F1. Are some sounding so indignant because this is a convenient way of venting their frustrations at Flavio? I'm not his greatest fan, but I just pose the question...

Pete, i really am not trying to be funny, but i would be very interested in what exactly Bernie's input to the club is.

Schumy got away with spearing Hill in 1994 (racing incident) but a whacking fine and a ban for doing the same to Villeneuve in 1996.

A deliberate crash is hugely more serious than "fixing" races by slowing down or giving driving orders. You're putting the drivers life in danger for starters and the other drivers on the grid. You never know what bit of metal is going to work its way loose shuttle down the track and spear into a helmet (Massa and Senna) or what debris is going to go into the crowd or how any crash will affect the race behind and the stewards.

It's infinitely more serious and incomparable to other charges of race fixing.

The money spent so far, do you think it's Flavio's?

Flavio will be back in F1 in a year. Renault will get slapped with a heavy fine.

                                Flavio has several business interests

Did you think Cipirani's is going to close down tomorrow?

F1 different entity, he has resigned from Renault. Wouldn't think it would have too much impact on the football league

Do you know anything about F1, or you taking a stab in the dark? Cos he will not be back in f1.
