  • Morrison vs Adel

Amazingly, Harry is now saying that we needs a maverick, someone that can unlock the defences! Well, we had one, a brilliant one that Harry did not want him near the training ground. Now we've got Morrison. Very similar to Adel, both in talent AND attitude. What will Harry do if Ravel turn up late for training? Will he tell him to pack his bags and find another club? The way Ravel ended up at West ham just got to show that there are attitude problems within his soul. The contradiction that is Harry is amazing. He realizes, maybe too late now, but hopefully is not, that Adel would off been of great help to the Rangers cause. Mentioned the important role Adel had in our promotion season! Why now Harry? Are you feeling that you're loosing the cause?

Adel's not here, Adel's not coming back, Adel's in a different country... move on!!

    Morrison is not Adel,
Morrison doesn't have bad history with QPR,
Morrison doesn't have bad history with Harry.

Harry knows Adel well - he knows there's nothing he can do to change his appalling attitude and behaviour. Move on.

Morrison couldn't lace Adel's boots! but as Nick says he is at Milan now and now that is the case no chance will he ever be back at Rangers unfortunately. Morrison will do a similar job, but won't have the same impact on this league as Adel did.

... and he also won't have the same bad baggage as Adel has with this club.

I know Morrison's had an attitude in the past but this could be the fresh start he needs, just like Milan is for Adel

adel had the choice of us or AC Milan one of the most successful clubs in football history and are managed by a modern legend of european football too. if you think we can compete with that stature you should be sent to a sanatorium
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

We owe Adel do we not? It is not a question of choice, its our decision.....the same one that kept Joey Barton at Rangers. In another scenario, Milan or any other club, should have put an offer to buy him for good. But he's contracted to us and it was OUR decision to loan him. Because Harry did not want him.

Do Milan have the option to buy? I can't remember. If so the way he has started for them 2 MOTM in 2 games (early days yet I know) I can't see them sending him back at the end of the season.

On a side note, be interesting to see how he performs on the biggest stage Wednesday.

its not harry not wanting him. if harry rejected the move there would be no point in keeping adel as he would be pretty pissed off. championship to champions league, no manager would stand in the way of a player leaving in that scenario

Good point.....but Fulham? On the point of Champions League, was not Barton expected to play in the Champions League as well? Yet, we stood hard and claimed that he is our player and he was to stay here. As TF said at the time......he is our player and WE decide were he plays. Julio Cesar wanted a move for some time, yet nobody wanted him. What happened....he stays here earning good money for turning up for training! Its the other way round, we cannot got rid of him because he's under contract. So, the same applies to Adel.

Barton wasnt wanted by marsielle in the end, they concentrated on youth to save money i believe. cesar had the opportunity to move but prefered a higher wage to playing time. and if we sell adel spurs get 40% I'd rather we loaned him out somewhere where he'll perform so his stock increases and we get a decent fee for him

We will have to wait and see as spoke with a Blues mate who has watched him when at St Andrews and who has also watched Adel as he used to work in West London and came QPR all the time and he said that Morrison is a superb player and all were gutted at Birmingham to see him leave and his view having watched both is Ravel is better then him as hes better all round player

Thats just an opinion of someone that has watched plenty of both players so time will tell. Apparently has the skills of Adel but add pace to that too so we could be in for a treat or it could go south quickly

adel is a special player but those days are done.

morrison is HIGHLY rated. pogba & him were always the standout performers the man ute reserves but never got a chance there

pogba's gone on to become a key player for the italian champions, hopefully morrison can excel similarly here
