  • Not all bad.

Fking fuming like a goodun yesterday after that shambles of a performance, and I know I get as negative as anyone when we play sh ite like that.

Going forwards I dont think we're in such a bad position.... I look at players like Austin/Philips and Hoilett and see real hope for the future, we really can pin our hopes on these sort of players and hope there will be a few more of these sorts thru the door in the summer, not old washed up Harry chums and the like.

Up, Playoffs or still in the Champ, still think we have a lot to look forward to next season and the few after.

Apparently some fans think we should perform like Barcelona.

yeah brilliant, but reality is I think some fans just hope we'd just perform
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

          Pathetic post.

Fans want a decent level of performance from undoubtedly the most expensive, talented (apparently) & highest paid players in the division.

Not a lot to ask is it?

Agree, my point is that you cannot expect to perform well in EVERY game like Barcelona. It doesn't mean I am not unhappy about the Reading game but every team have a period of bad form.

That's why I prefer we stay in the Chanpionship to fix the problem. We aren't ready for the PL yet. I am glad Kranjcar was on loan. Next season we should stop making too many loan signings.

There's no soul to the club at the mo, no QPR.. were other clubs B side at the moment.
The players we have on perm deals are the only ones that have shown quality and heart in some forms.

If you want years in the Championship to fix problems then this season has not been used very well.
Loans going back at the end of this season are BEA, Kranjcar, Carroll, Doyle, Maiga, Hughes, Morrison (if he comes).
Old players, most of the signed this year or on last year of contract Dunne, Hill, O'Neill, Henry, Johnson, Zamora, Jenas, Benyaoun, SWP
So for next years fix we have Green, Simpson, Barton, Austin, Phillips, Hoilett, Onuoha, Faurlin, Traore, Suk

For me the only positives yesterday were Hoillett and to an extent Traore.

Hoillett for me has been massively frustrating. Before he joined us he was one of the top upcoming players in the country. Since he has joined us the QPR curse has struck and he has gone significantly backwards. I saw glimpses yesterday of the positive sides to this game. If we had the right manager helping to develop him he could be a massive player for us in the Premiership let alone the Championship. I have this horrible feeling though that he will end up going for next to nothing in the summer.

Traore needs a run in midfield. Has all the attributes to do well. Pace, strength and good on the ball. Flitted in and out yesterday but looked good in parts.

I agree likes of Austin, Phillips, Ned, Simpson etc could be good and we need to shed the disinterested pensioners and start building the side properly. To do that we need 'Arry to move on and bring in someone who will do more than bring in overaged prima donnas with no drive or desire.

So are most people now finally of the view, that HR isn't the answer?

His sort of just done what Hughes has done but with loans!!
