  • Harry's Reading post-match comments

“I thought the best team won,” Redknapp told www.qpr.co.uk. “Reading were bright, they had more energy than we did and I’ve got no complaints. It’s a difficult day but we’ve got to pick ourselves up again.

We’ve had major injuries to three players who’ve been playing every week so we’ve had to change a few things. We’ve gone with two up front and we suddenly look very, very open. That’s a problem. We’ve got to work hard on the training pitch and get back to how we were playing a few weeks ago.

We’ll all be in tomorrow and we’ll work hard to get ready for Charlton. It’s another tough game but we’ve got to start going on a run ourselves. We’re capable, we can do it, and I’m still confident we’ll be bang up there at the end of the season.

There’s testing times in every season. I’ve had one in every season I’ve been in management and this is just another one. There’s a long way to go.”
