Im sure he would object if we decided not to pay salary for a few months because he was representing France and where I come from if you receive pay you have to have offered some form of effort to receive it. We have games, your available, we pay your wages so put your shin pads on as your playing
    Well said.

Having said that, he may have every intention of doing the right thing. (He said, not believing it for one moment )

I reckon if he allowed to play and is asked I have no doubt he would

Although he ended up at Newcastle he is one of the few I believe who said if told too he would have played in the championship (or am I imagining that) plus lets be having it straight potentially one of those games would be in all intents a cup final at Wembley where most players want to play so imagine he would be up for that. Its not like were saying you need to turn out in Yeovil on a bog were hopefully talking Wembley

Fingers crossed Hits!! with him in the side anything is possible

Personally I have to hold my hands up and admit if he was not and it was a choice between Bobby, AJ, Keane etc or Remy im throwing the shirt to Remy after all I reckon we have been contributing towards his wages while at Newcastle so lets at least try and get something for our money

Austin still had the strap last game. I thought he was supposed to have had it off.

think i heard he's seeing a specialist on wednesday and if he gets the ok, the sling comes off and he might be available for selection in 4-5 weeks (so fingers crossed for bournemouth or blackburn games).

I agree with this - I believe he would play without hesitation.

That said, I'm sure there must be some rule that would prevent it as it seems rather strange to allow us to suddenly have a "new" player for the play offs.

                            Remy

Sorry if mentioned before but thought I would bring this subject up again ..

Does anybody actually know as to whether he would be available to play for us if we end up in the play offs..

He is on a season long loan as we know, but the premiership finishes well before all the play off games.

It could make it interesting with him and Austin back ..

Nope not allowed back until 1st June - FA rules mate.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
