The bold ones have gone now except the ravel thread. i'm wondering if it's to do with the timing setting for posts and needs to be on auto updating

Please could you elaborate regarding the auto update 'setting'?

We have to be very careful, when trying to fix an issue for one person, that we don't make drastic changes so it affects wider number of people.

Hi there, the unread posts icon on the main forum page is showing that there are unread posts when all posts have been read. If you go into the sub-forum itself, the threads are no longer in bold, meaning they appear read. But the icon on the main page shows unread posts. I have the forum set to mark unread threads immediately

              Post no.4?

You might need to restart and see if it's better.

                I've done a clean up.

New posts for me are still staying in bold when returning. Didn't you mention MYU that you had a time delay on page updating? There was definitely things going on like that in the jan transfer window.

I bought both vbulletin 4 and xenforo but never got round yet to setting either of them up. If anyone wants vbulletin 4 forum they can have it at half price of £125. The licence is transferrable but it takes apparently 4-6 weeks to happen

The time delay has been in place since we started the forum and it's set at 10 minutes.

Anyone else having the same issue please let us know in here.

As Mayur says, thread views dont update for 10 minutes, this is kinder on server resources than instant updating.

The only cure I've found for this is to empty and delete the cache and cookies which I know is a nuisance because some cookies need to be kept in the system.

OI!, delete cookies, don't delete cookies. Worse than Harry

How many other people are affected ? Just one or two?

Maybe it's my end then, I've got firefox and did change cookie tracking I think, I've put it back so will wait and see. Some go off after I read them, maybe after a delay atm.
