As some of you may of seen in twitter, the club are rolling out the red carpet for a fan who has cancer called Tony. If you haven't seen it go on the website and watch and read the article. Amazing thing for the club to do for a fan.

What I was wondering if anyone knows if this is the poster toni German who used to post on here. I am sorry if I have the wrong end of the stick but I just wanted to know. Thanks

Great effort from the club and hats off to Joey for his part. Very sad story & I hope he gets a great reception from the R's faithful on Sunday which I'm sure he will.

It's not me Mellowhoop - although strangely enough I too now have a brain tumour as well as the Leukaemia. It's called an Acoustic Neuroma and has made me deaf in my left ear.

Lets hope the R's faithful give him a great reception. I myself have been battling cancer since September last year. After two operations I had my final dose of radiotherapy this morning which is a real milestone for me. In the next couple of weeks I should be able to start on the long road to recovery.
