  • Brighton Model

I remember going to the old Brighton ground about 15 years ago (before Deane Court) when they were in the 3rd tier of the league and attendance was as low as 5,000. Yesterday I went to the American Express Community Stadium when the hosted Leeds. Really impressive ground. Attendance was 27,000. For a club like Brighton the jump in attendance is great considering they are smaller club than us.

I can't see why we cannot attract at least 30,000 in our new stadium.

Brighton have an enormous catchment area youseff , they are a very very well supported club who have had to put up with all manner of **** over moving to gillingham and playing at what is effectively a running track for years . If ever a club deserved a new home it was them. I have no affiliation to Brighton whatsoever despite being quite local . I know a lot of Albion fans and wouldn't say they are a smaller club than us at all . Also dean court is Bournemouths ground so assume you meant the withdean ??

Swansea too, West Brom. Common thread is a consistent ideology running through the club that outlasts the whims of any one manager. And no daft short-term spending sprees on players with no resale value.

Swansea will soon disappear. They have proved that this year in the Europa League. **** poor turnouts at home for their first European season in decades. The Liberty only holds 20k so hardly massive and the only reason it's full is due to very cheap season tickets. Same goes for West Brom really, plenty of empty seats week in week out and it only holds 26k.

In terms of fans numbers, Brighton are a much bigger club then us, always had great numbers back in the 80and 90 as well
