  • Glad when Redknapp Has gone.

His tactics are poor, the players he has brought in are over the Hill, we only seem to play well in the second half and by then we are playing catch up, the team needs to be trying to win in the first half not the second, no point in him going now that would be stupid as we may get lucky and go up which I doubt and the wrong time to disrupt things, need to do it in the close season, then get a good young manager in that knows what he is doing, and get rid of the players that are past their sale by date, I think Harry has lost the plot just not up to it anymore.

I am beginning to agree with this. Our team seems to be very negative and fearful at the moment, which spreads to the fans. A completely different feelgood factor when we went up under Warnock.

Me too, I have been saying for ages he won't get us promoted, now many beginning to realize that but making excuses for him due to our injuries

Tactics? 2/3 of the season has gone by now and I am still trying to understand what our game plan is and looking at the players they don't know either.
In Arry's defense, it's hard to lose Faurlin, Austin, Phillips, Simpson due to injuries.
That's four first eleven starters in my book, although Arry had problems recognizing Faurlin and Phillips should start every game when fit.
But there is no excuse our squad has not adopted some kind of style by now, we seem to rely on the brilliance of some players in a game.

The lack of giving our own young guns a chance (Petrasso, Hitchcock, Skapetis, Ehmer, Doughty) and adding older have been players like Benayoun is in my eyes very disturbing.

If we fail promotion Arry will probably say goodbye right away.
Would like to see our next manager(maybe in a few months time or in one / two years) to have a vision how we need to play the game, Rodgers and Martinez are good examples imho.

I said oneil, jenas and Henry were ok players 6 years ago but it was wreckless to sign too many
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I've never warmed to Harry. ALways got the impression he thought he was too big for us and he was just killing time with us until a prem team came in for him. With that not looking likely he seems to have lost all interest in the job completely.
I agree that sacking him now is not the right time, but I personally would like to see him replaced in the summer with an enthusiastic manager who can develop our youngsters and get us playing some attractive football. We're not moving forward under Harry.

Have thought this for some time. It's got to the point where I'm almost dreading them reading out the team. So uninspiring. Yes we have been hit by injuries but we have the squad to do damage to most teams in this league even allowing for that.

we went for the quick fix and there is no time left to change it now. might as well soldier on now and assuming we don't go up rebuild under a progressive manager in the summer. back to square one really.

Well you may get your wish because he will leave if we don't get promoted. It might not be a bad thing another year in the championship you know. Bring through some of our youth players, get rid of most of the shite in the squad. Let's be honest if we go up we would need major changes to the team so it will turn out a nightmare like last time. Bring in a younger manager like Eddie Howe give him a nice little transfer kitty after all he brought Austin, Ings and Vokes to Burnley.

But this would have been a wasted year. Its not as if we have brought anyone through. Be interesting to see whether they finally decide to do things properly. But as others have said there is a complete disconnect between planning a new 40,000 stadium in central London and bringing in Kevin Doyle as the man to score our goals. Looked at objectively, the board's plans are in tatters (and I say that as someone who likes Tony and badly wants him to turn it round).

Hindsight now but I wish we had just stuck with Warnock in the first place in the 2011/12 season. Then the Mark Hughes era would never had happened. If we had gone down that season then so be it at least we wouldn't have spunked all that dough on the likes of Bosingwa, Cesar etc...
