  • It was Palace's fault the call was late

Appara the ref said after 6 that the game was looking unlikely as the pitch was a state....and was ready to call it off then.

Couldnt get hold of palace and they didnt rack up to the ground till 7 and the ref canmot call it off till colin is there or some sh1t.

If they'd have been on time the ref would have called it off at 6.15.

Doesnt take away the fact that the pitch should be able to cope.

Doesnt take away the fact that the communication from QPR was dire.

Just heard PLAYERS were telling fans it was off as they went back to their motors.

how can a new pitch this day in age not cope with a little rain?

what are we going to do in the mid winter?

birmingham at home last year was fine with all the snow and rain.

A little rain? Did you actually see how much fell today?
A snowshower like the Brum game wouldn't have deposited half the amount of water on the pitch that was chucked on today.

To have shifted the water would have required a state of the art drainage system that I assume Chelsea have got and Lords.

Maybe it was decided for the rare occasions of deluge like we saw today - the money was better spent elsewhere. Possibly the 4th year of Agyemang's contract?

if the pitch cannot cope with tonights situations, then we have no chance of playing games in mid winter.

these days pitches can cope with water like that, obviously ours cannot.

Did the Bentley come as standard or did he pay for that himself?

No they can't - unless you spend oodles of cash on drainage.
Or did you not actually bother reading my post?
