Carroll was far from our worst player tonight. Don't think we should have loaned him, don't think that we should play him over our own players and pretty sure we have enough inexperienced, lightweight youngsters of our own.

Having said that, he never hides, always wants the ball and should be commended for that. Jenas better tonight? Really?

Why is Tom Carroll always the scapegoat???.i don't remember the likes of o'neil, krancjcar, and Johnson doing ****** all and there much older and experienced.Personally, I think Tom Carroll is class but who's he meant to thread these passes too, when everyone ahead of him are basically statues!

Carroll is just average, if he wasn't at Spurs and touted as the next best thing no one would give him a second look all reputation. What are his strengths, yes he looks for the ball but rarely plays a pass of note. Doesn't run at people, easily out muscled, doesn't and can't shoot, poor in the air etc. waste of a loan but Harry has his favorites and I affraid he is one of them so he will keep getting picked.

This. Good player who knocks the ball around nicely when in space but he's way too lightweight. Not sure why Spurs fans wanted him back in january, would he work in the prem as it's less physical?

Funny thing,Carrol played quite well from the moment when Barton got injured in a previous match. Henry replaced the latter and Carrol´s play improved.

apart from barton our mid was cack as it has been for most of the season , now i dont know our best 11 nor does harry , carroll is not good enough but he doesnt pick himself .there are to many in our team that are not up to scratch did our forwards win a header , why doesnt hoilett go outside defenders then cross, why cant we mix up the play and go direct at times
