It don't mean I can claim to be a babe magnet and base my whole pulling history on one decent exploit when the rest of my history suggests otherwise

What part of "he was one of the most creative players in the Premier League (created 7th most chances last season)" was too hard for you to understand?

Geng your a fan I get it and respect it. You clearly rate him more highly then I do which is fair enough. I have no idea what the stats are on him or other players say as I base my views on what I see with my own eyes. An example of this is Tom Carroll out of this world stats, apparently, on keeping the ball and passing percentage but my eyes tell me he is not very good and the stats are misleading

Now not saying Adel is not very good as that is not the case he has ability beyond what most players can dream about but for the ability he possess he has massively underachieved on the highest stage the last two and a bit years, appreciate that's up for debate as you and his other admirers will say 7th best creation record etc I can point to him costing us must have been 10points last season with his lack of an end product 10 points which mat have seen us putting up more of a fight of staying up

You wont convince me that an amazing championship and few decent performances in the prem make the admiration of him justified just like I wont convince you he is not as good as you think the truth for both of us is probably somewhere in the middle

I judge the entertainment value of a match on the final result where as you like to be entertained by flair again that's fair enough its about opinions on this occasion we differ no doubt on a another thread we will agree

Whether or not he has underachieved ought to be irrelevant to this debate. I wouldn't want Mackie in the team solely because he is an overachiever. Maybe Adel should already be at Barcelona or whoever; that doesn't detract from the case for his use (or otherwise) at QPR.

The point is that if he created more chances than all but 6 players in the entire league last season then that *was* his end product. What more could he do? End product *is* stats! Relying on your own subjective opinions just introduces bias.

In 25 games last season Adel scored 5 and assisted 4, with a further two and half chances created per game.

For comparison, Adam Lallana has played 25 so far this season. Scored 7 and assisted 5, creating just one and half chances per game. Would you slate Lallana for a 'lack of end product'? I certainly wouldn't. And he plays in a far better side, with Ricky Lambert gobbling up the chances he lays on, rather than Jamie Mackie kicking the ball into the nearest defender.

Only three players in the PL this season have created more chances per game than Adel did last season: Suarez, Ozil and Snodgrass. Eden Hazard is 2.5 per game, exactly the same rate.

This 'lack of end product' stuff is a myth. What would "end product" be, exactly? If he played in the PL like he did in the Champ his name would be Suarez or Messi. Even those two would struggle playing for QPR 2011-13.

Sure, he could have done more. But where is the equivalent hate for the rest of our squad over the last two years? Until Remy showed up, Adel was head and shoulders above any other attacking threat we possessed.

this explains why so many clubs queue up to sign him and why Fulham were so desperate to keep him.......btw stats can paint a true picture and can also create a mirage
