None because Austin is unfit and Adel won't fit in the team at the moment.

There is no way in hell Adel will ever play as good as he did when NW was in charge. But that's just my opinion.
      Adel actually peaked under Hughes.

And the answer to this poll is Adel, obviously. I go to football to be entertained. I don't think most of you appreciate how ridiculously lucky we were to have several years of nutmegs, shoulder dummies, outrageous passes and childish tantrums every week.

Charlie Austin is a decent striker at this level, but he's nothing special. Andy Thompson scored 20+ goals for us in 2001 - when did you last think about him? But I bet those of you who are old enough to remember Wegerle or Currie have lots of good memories.

Austin or Adel: who are you going to tell your grandchildren about?

Innit. Adel may have actually peaked for us on the left wing of a Mark Hughes side. The idea that he 'wouldn't fit' right now is daft. Which of our attacking mids couldn't he replace?

And *even if* we had to build the team around him I'm pretty certain we'd look a lot more threatening with Adel in the no10 role than we have done all season.

Sheeeet, I was just about to do a 'who do you hate the most' poll. Harry, Tony, the players or being third.

Geng you make the assumption that football is merely about entertainment which it no longer is. Some people like yourself like to be entertained others are more concerned with the final result, if its pretty thats a bonus.

I would like to tell my grandchildren about entertainment but even more so would like to them them that I was there when Rangers lifted a cup or won the league as thats what goes down in the history books. In 50years outside of QPR who would even remember Adel played for us and how great he was in the championship?? however we are in the record books forever for lifting the title

You also do Austin a diservice above as if he stays with us long enough and scores how he has been he will eclipse the amount of goals that Adel scored for us and I really believe can go down as a Rangers folk hero just like Adel is.

Give me a regular reliable goal scorer every day of the week over a maverick

His attitudes will not fit. Skills without discipline is useless. His two years in the PL with us proved it.

No point even talking about it now as the guy is at Milan and has a champions league game tomorrow, so is never coming back. But if you think Niko is doing a better job, you crack on fella.

Yousef he would be a massive asset playing in the championship and he is exactly the type of player we've been crying out for. A player that can pick a pass and actually make things happen. Like Robson said pointless talking about it but don't act like he is damaged good because he would still be our best player alongside Austin. Harry has allot to be blamed for Yousef as we have a midfield with the average age of 33 and players that aren't anywhere near their peak and we are suffering because of it.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He would walk into the team and be better than any player we have playing right now, but so would Messi and Ronaldo, but neither of the three want to play for QPR and neither of the three would. So it really is a pointless argument.

No reason at all that you can't have both. If Adel and Austin were playing in the same team we would have much more points on the board and that is not guess work it is a fact. Adel never had a striker like Austin to work with and just a great shame we won't see them in the same side

Well it's been nearly 50 years since Marsh and 40 since Bowles, and people still talk about them personally rather than just the achievements on paper. So yes, I think people will remember Adel for the entertainment value.

And the idea that you can be either entertaining or successful isn't fair; in this division Adel was both a maverick and a regular goal scorer. Plus he got double marked every game, allowing the Mackies and Smiths loads more space than any of our wingers get this season.

Yep agree Austin could stay with us and be a folk hero, and I hope he does. But let's not pretend he's particularly special player to watch
