      One and all,

I just hope that the Mittals, or anyone else who works for our beloved QPR, never read these threads... And certainly not that comment. W12, i understand your passion and sentiment. However...

I'm sure the difference between our views as fans, and the vast amounts of time and money that these guys have invested, is huge. The truth is we don't really know, and probably never will.

But we couldn't have investors with more money, with more passion, with more desire. We have some of the wealthiest owners in the world. Niave ? Yes. Made mistakes ? Yes...

BUT, their heart is right. Their motives are true.

Maybe we should just show them a tad more respect.

As i said, God help us if they read these threads...

I love this thread - some proper trainee journalists putting their CV's forward to the Daily Fail by the looks of it. You can't research this topic because there is no factual information in the public domain, so do the decent journo thing and spin some

I'm happy with our current board. Yes there's been mistakes, but they've been admitted and acted upon. I like the plans for a new training ground/academy and a new stadium. We're having a pretty good season with players who seem to want to succeed. And we have a manager that knows the game inside out.

All in all, I think we're in good hands from the chairman down.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Haha - just shows what you know about the inns and outs of QPR then.

More money has come from Amit and LM combined into QPR than what has been spent individually by Tony Fernandes and that is a fact. Also collectively they hold the largest individual stake in the club. I love the way supporters make flippant statements like this without logic or insight applied.

Father-in-law to be precise. He's married to Vanisha who is LM daughter.

And to add some more info/insight, when Tango and Cash were at the club we would not have signed anyone if it weren't for Amit. Money from LM and Amit supported pretty much most of our signings. Neil Warnock almost walked twice because of fallouts with the Orange one over funds. Neil Warnock even alludes to this in his book, but then again some will probably state this is tosh to massage and support their agenda. Amit/LM funded Paddy Kenny's transfer fee after problems with Tango and Cash mainly because Tango refused to sign Kenny because of his drug related ban.

Cheers for the insight mate, not doubting youbut have you got any proof of these facts about amit and the mittals funding all our transfers?
Or is it just something that youve heard from your source?

Warnock mentions this in part of his book unless he's lying too. Also have a dig around online in press articles/quotes from Amit which explains some bits and pieces. This was also the reasons for why Amit/Mittals wanted total control with Flavio and Bernie out. Amazes me what some of our supporters come out with. There is a lot more bits and pieces that went on behind the scenes in the power struggle between little and the large orange one vs the Mittals/Amit which I won't go into. We're in good hands.

To Mittal we are likely a hobby he is happy to support particularly with Amit so keen. Beyond that as a long term project maybe moderately interesting whilst not distracting from his main business focus. These are not bad things.
