  • better atmospheres at Loftus Rd

Recently In Q P and R block there has been growing concern among many supporters that the atmosphere within the traditional singing sections on match day is becoming flat and many of the traditional singers/chanters are becoming forced into isolated pockets by fans who come into the Q P and R block to spectate and absorb the atmosphere and do not try and contribute to the unique conditions that can be created at Loftus road.

In my view this is becoming an issue as one of the reasons why Loftus Road was such a intimidating atmosphere was due to the closeness of the players to the fans and the passion that was show on match day with Q P and R blocks leading the way with the singing and chanting.

What is the best way forward? I know many people who are considering a move into X block next year with a view to getting the best from Q P and R (and any other blocks whom are keen) and create a vocal section which can feed from the away support and create better atmospheres.

If you want an example of what happens if you loose your vocal support look no further than Fulham and there ground.

Im sure i going to get pelters for saying this but what other alternatives are there?

Would be good to set up maybe a group of people from this site who sit together and sing all match.

I think X block is decent idea too. If there were enough in X block getting it going plus the QPR blocks would work nicely

Always thought that since the r block has quietened down that it would make sense for the club to introduce a singing section. The x block would be perfect for it. Right next to the away supporters Aswell. Why don't we inform the club and do a trial match like at man united?

Well we can designate it the singing block ourselves. The unofficial singing block if you will. So how about we all try and get tickets in xblock from now on.

The stewards and old bill won't have it in X block, u can't fart without being kicked out these days.

I know Tony uses twitter maybe thats the best method ?, maybe it could be a trial towards the new stadium and doing the same thing in a similar part in that. If a good sized group got together now with the idea then it would be easier to enforce it i the new stadium.

It would be good to get to know a few others lads who love the rangers and a sing song and are keen to keep songs and rangers tradition alive, give us a message on here or alternatively pop into the Shepard and flock for a pint before or after a game if anybody is keen?

Have to adopt the silent but violent approach to flatulance at Loftus road these days. Gone are days of freely letting out seat shakers.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

If we are standing it should be fine but i realise the risk element is still there?
