Hi All,
I haven't posted on here for a while but I would like to let any Irish R's on this site that the next meet up of the Irish R's is in Mother Hughes pub in Drogheda for the Reading home Sky game on Feb 16th 15.30pm. I would like to give you an update.
I was in the pub today and they are very much looking forward to our meet. We have a whole side of the pub reserved. If our current weather keeps up we won't have to worry, we will have an open fire burning for us
We have our own TV in our area with surround sound and complimentary bites for the group. We can hang pictures, hang flags, if anyone has a QPR DVD they will be happy to play that before or after the game.
It really is a great pub for our meet and they are looking after us very well. One of the barman used to live in London and made plenty of visits to Loftus Rd, he was of course bitten by the bug and has a very soft spot for QPR ever since.
Hopefully we have a great turn out and everybody enjoys their day in Drogheda. Anyone interested in coming along please let me know here so I can give the pub an idea of numbers for the grub.
I'm looking forward to meeting all you fellow R's, if you have any questions or queries please ask away
