cant agree with that whatsoever, the standards much better this time round to me. Us and Burnley both looked brilliant on saturday, and Liecester are unbeaten in ages and look such a solid outfit all over. Add to that, Derby playing well, as are forest and dont forget Reading averaging about three to five goals a game recently. Superb standard and will go right down to the wire.

I think Barton could up his game just a little bit more. I think he has what it takes to dictate games. I'm pleased his with us though. He comes across as the guy who really gets the dressing room going

He's been pretty good, but still loses the ball with daft daft hollywood passes far too often. He'll get found out in the PL again, once we're playing better opposition who will close him down quickly and punish us when we give the ball away. And everyone on here will turn against him (again) and say he's not trying hard, mistaking a lack of effort for simply not being as good as you (or he) thought.

Everyone underrated him last time in the PL and overrates him now.

By "everyone" I obviously mean homoWATRBs, a general stereotype of your average poster here.

He has been very good for us on the whole this year, although not quite as good as some seemingly think. Has had some bad games (as has everyone) but more good than bad, and I think we're a far better side with him in it.

Blokes a pr@t that, still don't understand how / why he is treated like a demi god by some after slating our club in the summer, yet others (Tarbs - without starting a debate on him) have never said a bad word about us yet are shown a huge amount of hatred by some

Still, so long as he is playing well for us, I'll support him on the pitch.

not knocking you matty cos I like your posts but
1, remember he is a professional not from London who supports another club,, therefore he wont have quite the singular views you have for qpr.
2, he gives every thing for the cause, and those kind of people do get more frustrated which can appear bad
3, he did say his heart is in Marseille, but he had at the time been given the cold shoulder (big mistake) by qpr
4, adel moots a move to barca or utd every time he scores which I find highly disrespectful and in the last few days has been at it again ie "Milan is my dream", much more organised than spur Fulham or qpr

Fair comments pal and I see what you're saying, and to an extent I agree regards point 2. I do like him as a player, and I hope he continues performing as he is at the moment. I just find it strange how he got welcomed back to a heros welcome by our fans after spending the summer going out of his way to say he won't be playing for us again & coating us off in public about not having plugs in the baths etc.

I see why people don't like / get annoyed with Adel for, amongst others, the reason you refer to above, but I, personally, can't see how that's any worse than Barton's previous comments.

Anyway, all opinions on the bloke aside, he's doing the business on the pitch for us and long may that continue
