This getting ridiculous isn't it Stanley? I hope this lot get their case refused through the door let alone get chucked out of court. We are providing facilities that will benefit them. From what I've read from different posters
the place as it stands is dump, and that's being kind. I just get the feeling this is a few Brentford fans and some tree huggers/nimbies...yet it can only benefit them....

Who the 12 year old with a scum top on?... He's the trouble maker who's in charge of this residents group....SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Essentially this appears to be their argument:
"We are losing 61 acres of freely accessible open green space used for school and adult sports, and for informal leisure."
To which Ealing council's respond:
“The development will secure long-term investment in high-quality community sporting facilities that will benefit generations of Ealing residents – and at no cost the tax payer. The development is supported by Sport England and other sport governing bodies, as well as many residents in Norwood Green.”
So I really can't see their problem.
Convenient also how they overlook the fact that the facilities currently are completely dilapidated and in desperate need of repair and investment that would only bring benefit to their "schools, adult sports, and informal leisure."
