I have been following Rangers for decades and used to do the LSA coaches back in the 70's and 80's; know Vic from there and drinking in McQueens/Springbok and Upper Loft connection too.
However, one of my best mates who is older than me and has supported Rangers for even more years doesn't drink, frequents Ellerslie Road and has never used official Club travel to away matches simply because of where he lives. He's never knowingly met Vic (albeit I guarantee he has because of the number of away games he has done in the last 50 years, their paths will have crossed for sure) and actually doesn't know him from Adam.
Wait 'till I tell him he aint proper Rangers, that's going to be a fun chat on Monday night. Perhaps if Vic is allowed into Derby I can point him out and my mates 50 years will mean something at last#standuptocancer

this does not make you any less a ranger than anyone else, which i'm sure you know.
vic is one of the fellas that travels to nearly every away game and when i say we have a hardcore of 300, that is those that travel and have known each other since the 70's, 80's etc.

my respect for
my respect for victor is because in my lifetime and ive lived 60 years ive never known anyone quite like him,hes just a qpr fanatic when chelsea used to bully us and it was possible to walk all the way around loftus road,75 per cent of the loftusroad end would disapear, but he was the rock that always stood his ground,he wasnt a thug but he refused to run away from the bullies of chelsea
he united our fan base and rightfully got a not guilty because victor difnt do anything wrong up at everton, how could he be associated with what happened he was trying to stop people fighting

i've been a hoop for 38 years, travelled with my son to away games on official coach, by train and car but we don't drink at matches and keep ourselves to ourselves
bound to have stumbled across vic at some stage but missing a formal introduction has seriously dented my credibility it seems
maybe i'll just keep going anywayI don't care about morals 'cause the world's insane and we're all to blame anyway

spank the monkey
spank the monkey, fair point i am wrong in this case,at russ moores funeral victor actually told me that every qpr fan was his family, and he dont fight his own family,i did get very carried away with myself
but i must not misquote the great victor who loves all qpr fans
SO I RETRACT STATEMENT THAT IF YOU DONT KNOW VICTOR YOU AINT QPR
its wrong to misquote, and victor is a personification of love, and thats why the everton thing wass wrong victor did nothing wrong
so ive apologised,as im now right out of speckled hen so now im behaving normally or almost normally

It's the lads like Gary and Vic that keeps the away support going strong. No disrespect to all you R's who make your own way to the aways, without you our support would be she-ite!

Well pleased for Vic, I know some of his mates were quite worried about him getting a wrong verdict seeing as the old bill & cps were very intent on taking the case to crown court. Hope the club lifts his ban as there is no need for it now.Last edited by WCE; 05-02-2014, 08:37 AM.My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

the lsa
the lsa was a continuation from a pact made when we all took a kicking of chelsea in the mike keen testimonial, people like myself were at that game at the end of the 67-68 game
we called our end the loft which was a pop at chelseas shed
but the loft wasnt about violence it was all about uniting the fans, and in that peacefull cause trev kingham and victor formed the lsa
so how victor got banned from loftus road i just dont know i hope he can now go into the qpr ground as any peacefull fan should be allowed
