This season has been about simply getting rid of loads of players and replacing them with a workmanlike side which is partly why at times we look disjointed and are grinding out results as opposed to being impressive most of the time.

I know people moan at some of the marquee signings we have missed out on but we shouldn't underestimate the size of the task facing the board and 'Arry following the Hughes signings debacle of last season. They have had to replace almost an entire squad. Think they have done very well overall.

Good post mate. Its good to read a decent post where the fan's got he's feat on the ground.

This season is and always has been about getting rid and replacing with player's who can do a job. Player's who can get us over the line and not necessarily be here for the future. IF we go up IMO the next transfer window will be the one that brings in bigger name's. At the end of the day we are still just a championship team, player's will always want to go to the bigger clubs, where the lights are brighter and the pay cheques bigger.

I would hope tf is in it for the long run, even with the mistakes that have been made, purely because we would be f@#ked if he was to pull out.

As for manager mems, if malkay mackay is still out work in the summer then he would have to be considered.

Worries me that if we don't go up, will we be able to hold onto Charlie Austin? Can imagine one or two PL teams sniffing round.

Dont worry, he wont go anywhere. Hes been doing this for a while, as has rhodes and no prem club has put their money where there mouth is. He will stay, especially now he will be considered injury prone.

Harry will leave if we don't go up?

If we don't go up, I wouldn't have thought he would be allowed to make that decision.
