I for one am looking forward to a 40K ground. When I go to buy a ST instead of buying a seat I can buy a whole row for the same price in the new HMP scrubs stand.

I want a standing only bear pit.... capacity 12,000.... **** flowing freely from the three khazis onsite..... highly questionable meat pies from fvck knows where.... turnstiles operated by fat disinterested woodbine smoking matrons..... minimal rails and surging behind the goals.... access to away supporters.... and above all a horribly toxic environment for visiting teams who can smell the stale keg on our breath......
yeah

I think you should call yourselves the SHORT TERM THINKING gang.
I like to think long term, so no thanks.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

The cynic in me does agree with the V block theme that the stadium is a type of carrot the club are dangling in front of all those responsible for planning permission, as it is persuasive in why the clubs consortium should get the land deal and not anyone else.
The stadium ticks all the right boxes in relation to community participation.
If the stadium is secondary and the new mini city is the prime purpose, then it's not unexpected that little thought as to capacity has been given. I agree that if any thought was given 30k would be more than adequate.
Personally I would have preferred us to go down the normal route of say arsenal, Swansea, Cardiff etc and just have at the heart of the club and the prime purpose of the entire project a new stadium rather than being part of Gotham City.
My concern is it looks all rather complicated and we don't seem to have a plan B of just building a new stadium somewhere as a project in itself if the mini city is a non runner.
I'm not even clear if the new stadium is conditional on the mini city or not, for how transparent and approachable TF is supposed to be, the actual detail is rather limited.

When plans for world domination and the construction of Tracy Island / Gotham City were first mooted, quite a few people on here raised questions about the level of investment required and the level of concomitant indebtedness that the club itself would be liable for.
To my knowledge, none of the questions have been answered. So, to quote Mr.Wolf in Pulp Fiction, let's not suck each others dicks just yet.... Personally, I'd liuke to see a bit of stability and evidence of forwad planning on the park, never mind the inconvenient truth that we can't fill LR on a regular basis.
